Chateau de Lascoux - Charming 14th Century Village Chateau with pool and gardens

(An elegant chateau nestled in a landscaped park surrounded by high walls and a beautiful swimming pool. A property full of character with many original elements, along with a lovely covered terrace great for 'al fresco' dining with the family, overlooking the gardens and pool area. Entering this chateau via the grand gates, you will find the front of the property accessed via the pretty courtyard with its hundred-year-old trees and apple orchard. There is a quaint renovated guest cottage with a beautiful covered terrace to one side and the main facade of the Chateau in front.

Inside the chateau, all the living rooms of the castle also over look the courtyard and gardens. There is a large grand living room with a monumental fireplace and a beautiful large dining room with its tailor-made bookcases surrounding another fireplace. The kitchen is well equipped with ven, dishwasher, American fridge freezer, microwave, kettle toaster and Nespresso coffee machine. Also in the ground floor is a laundry room and toilet.

A seven-hundred year old limestone spiral staircase takes you to the 1st floor and to the master bedroom with ar large and beautiful fireplace, spacious separate bathroom with freestanding bath, separate shower room and dressing room. Up another level is the enormous loft bedroom with its original beamed ceiling, large fireplace, stone turret and its own shower room and toilet.

Also on this side of the Chateau is a further double bedroom with separate full sized bathroom.

In the wing of the house dating from the 16th century, you will find three further bedrooms, (1 twin, 1 double and 1 large single) each with its own bathroom / shower room, accessible by a pretty wooden staircase.

The guest house which is in the courtyard of the castle, includes a living room with kitchenette, a e ground floor bedroom with double bed, perfect for people with mobility issues, a ground floor shower room and a large mezzanine of where you will find four further single beds (The loft beds have a weight limit of 120kg/264Ibs. Guests may be responsible for replacing both beds if they cause damage by exceeding this weight limit.)

Outside, there is an abundance of space within the walled grounds, landscaped gardens and a beautiful 12 x 6 swimming pool and terrace. The pool is normally open from mid May until the end of September. It is not heated but can be heated for a charge of 65 euros per stay.

This truly is a little piece of countryside heaven to spend quality family time creating memories.

Bed and bath linen is not included in the price, as our guests generally like to save the cost of this. However, we do offer an optional full set of bed and bath linen. This can be ordered and paid for during booking.

A compulsory cleaning" fee is charged at the time of booking .

However, the house must not be left dirty when the tenants leave. We ask our tenants to leave the accommodation as they found it on their arrival (kitchen and sanitary facilities clean, fridge and cupboards emptied, no trace of apparent dirt, bins removed, etc.). If the accommodation is left dirty, the Tenant will have a deduction from the deposit for the extra time spent cleaning the accommodation. The tenant will be informed without delay by message via the platforms, by sms or email, with photo(s) and/or video(s).

En entrant dans ce château par le grand portail, vous trouverez l'avant de la propriété accessible par la jolie cour avec ses arbres centenaires et son verger de pommiers. Il y a une charmante maison d'amis rénovée avec une belle terrasse couverte d'un côté et la façade principale du château devant.

A l'intérieur du château, toutes les pièces à vivre du château donnent également sur la cour et les jardins. Il y a un grand grand salon avec une cheminée monumentale et une belle grande salle à manger avec ses bibliothèques sur mesure entourant une autre cheminée. La cuisine est bien équipée avec four , lave-vaisselle, réfrigérateur congélateur américain, micro-ondes, bouilloire grille-pain et cafetière Nespresso. Également au rez-de-chaussée se trouve une buanderie et des toilettes.

Un escalier en colimaçon sept fois centenaire en pierre calcaire vous emmène au 1er étage et à la chambre principale avec un double lit, une grande et belle cheminée, spacieuse salle de bain séparée avec bain autoportant, salle de douche séparée et dressing. À un autre niveau se trouve l'énorme chambre en mezzanine avec son plafond aux poutres apparentes d'origine, sa grande cheminée, sa tourelle en pierre et sa propre salle de douche et ses toilettes.

De ce côté du château se trouve également une autre chambre double avec une grande salle de bain séparée.

Dans l'aile de la maison datant du 16ème siècle, vous trouverez trois autres chambres, (2 lits simple, 1 double et 1 lit simple grande) chacune avec sa propre salle de bain/douche, accessible par un joli escalier en bois.

La maison d'amis qui se trouve dans la cour du château, comprend un séjour avec coin cuisine, une chambre double au rez-de-chaussée, idéale pour les personnes à mobilité réduite, une salle d'eau au rez-de-chaussée et une grande mezzanine où vous trouverez quatre autres lits simples (les lits simples supportent un poids de maximum 120kg. Merci de faire attention car des dégâts aux lits seront retenue de la caution) .

A l'extérieur, il y a beaucoup d'espace dans le terrain clos, des jardins paysagers et une belle piscine de 12 x 6 et une terrasse. La piscine est normalement ouverte de mi-mai à fin septembre. Il n'est pas chauffé mais le chauffage peut-être demandé moyennant un supplément de 65 Euro par séjour.

C'est vraiment un petit coin de paradis à la campagne pour passer du bon temps en famille à créer des souvenirs.

Le linge de lit et de bain n'est pas inclus dans le prix, car nos clients aiment généralement économiser ce coût. Cependant, nous proposons en option un kit complet de linge de lit et serviettes. Cela peut être commandé et payé lors de la réservation.

Cependant, la maison ne doit pas être laissée sale au départ des locataires. Nous demandons à nos locataires de laisser le logement tel qu'ils l'ont trouvé à leur arrivée (cuisine et sanitaires propres, frigo et placards vidés, aucune trace de salissures apparentes, poubelles enlevées, etc.). Si le logement est laissé sale, le Locataire aura une retenue sur la caution pour le temps supplémentaire passé à nettoyer le logement. Le locataire sera informé sans délai par message via les plateformes, par sms ou email, avec photo(s) et/ou vidéo(s).
