Mean ALL the water , ran out. Could not wash breakfast dishes. Buckeyes water from hot tub to flush toilet.

Unsanitary
Publié le 28 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe've enjoyed all our stays at VRBO properties over the years. This is the first time we were extremely dissatisfied with both the cabin and the owner.
We checked in just after 3PM as agreed and settled in. As night fell, we began to watch a little TV and I noticed a mouse running from one of the bedrooms to the area under the TV. My wife noticed another mouse scurrying across the floor to underneath my couch.
I called and texted the host but received no response. We decided we didn't want to stay in an unhealthy environment with rodents running around all night as we tried to sleep. We drove all the way home that night without staying more than a few hours.
The next day I was in touch with Francie the host and explained our dreadful experience and requested a full refund. She said she was embarrassed and had a new cleaning lady scheduled and she would talk with the owner and get back with me. We did exchange texts a number of times. She kept saying she was trying to get in touch with the owner. I asked her the owner's name and number so I could personally explain our situation and I never received a reply since.
We feel we are being ignored and getting the run around. They are doing their best not to pay us our refund which we feel is more than justified because of the rodent problem. We did not expect anything like that considering this property is registered with you and there should be no question about health, cleanliness and safety concerns for any guests.

I am sorry that you feel your stay was "dreadfull" I can asure you that a mouse does not make the cabin unsafe or unsanitary to stay in. I had guests in that cabin untill the day you arrived as well as right after your scheduled stay. I specifically asked both sets of guests if they saw any signs of multiple mice, in which they both said "no" Im not saying it doesnt happen, cause once in a while folks will have that when staying in the mountains.
You went way too far in calling both the owner and myself "liers, theifs" and so on. Naturally I stopped communicating with you when threats were thrown my way.

Cozy cabin stay
Publié le 18 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe very much enjoyed the location of this cabin- out of the way, right up against the mountains with beautiful views and lots of birds and antelope. The owners were great and very communicative. As others have said, there are portions of the property very much in need of repair- particularly the deck & hot tub area. Our family did really enjoy having the hot tub and sauna after days of hiking and canoeing.

Thank you for your kind review. This cabin is our oldest cabin, built 23 years ago. I will check into what I can do about deck and hot tub area as you are correct others have mentioned this as well.

Wyoming cabin near snowy range

The cabin is more rustic than we expected for the price- there's no heat in the master bedroom, the hot tub has no jets, there's paint peeking from the walls, and the place doesn't seem to be maintained. It was cozy for us because we're pretty low maintenance, but I think it needs some TLC to be rented at the price it was asking.
The location is great (close to snowy range ski area), the hosts are responsive and SO KIND.
We enjoyed the rustic-ness of this stay.

Snowy Range ski trip
Publié le 21 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayThis rustic cabin was cozy and warm with the wood burning fireplace. There was a lot of snow so driving in and out was a bit challenging without four wheel drive but we loved the place.
