The entrance was beyond confusing. No one available to check in or take payment. Ended up trying to call the lodge and it just went to the machine over and over. Just weird. The room was comfortable tho.

Signage is everywhere to get checked in. Payment in full is required in advance to even book one of the guest rooms so I wonder if you even had the right location???. With this being an ‘anonymous’ guest review, we don’t even know the whole story and who this was??Did you show up or call during business hours? Have the right location?

Help!

Hotels.com you allowed us to book a hotel that was closed on the day we booked. They're always closed on Tuesdays. Our credit card had been charged $165.89 from Jun 11. Can you help us out with this? I have left voicemail for them but have not heard back.

Please contact Hotels.com and/or Expedia as soon as possible. A 2 out of 10 rating on a place you haven’t even stayed at or dealt with directly is unacceptable. This unfortunate matter has nothing to do with this location itself. Hours and days of operation are clearly posted on website. We also agree and have never contested cancellations that have gone through third party booking services in a reasonable manner. Plus our guest rooms are still open 7 days a week even with the restaurant and bar being closed on Monday and Tuesday.

Property is very outdated. Halls and rooms smelled damp and moldy. Walls are thin in the rooms. Overpriced in my opinion. Staff is outstanding and friendly.

Thanks for the compliment on the staff. Unfortunately everything is overpriced nowadays including our insurances and taxes which forces us to do price increases to keep up on overhead. We will speak with our daily housekeeping team to check into any odors and thanks so much for visiting us

I wasn't sure what to expect since the property is older and rustic, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the rooms and bathroom seem to have been recently remodeled and were both very clean. The staff was friendly and the food and drinks at the restaurant were great. They even have a little breakfast room where you can grab stuff to take back to your room, or where ever. The grounds are pretty, the front sits on a golf course, and the lake is at the back of it. There is no lake access though and you can barely even see it through the trees., My only complaint is the maid service was MIA and we didn't have enough towels or toilet paper. We had to track down toilet paper and the front desk wasn't open due to it being a Monday/holiday, which seemed odd. The restaurant is also closed on Mondays.

Not very specific. We are a busy restaurant, a busy bar, a busy venue, a busy taproom and have 26 busy guest rooms. ???

You must have the wrong location because we do have handicap accessible areas. Please ask a manager or a staff member for help before posting a review when you go places

Property was beautiful, bed was comfy and, large room and it was quiet. The only thing I didn't like was the heat wasn't on when we arrived and it was about 30* in there. Took a long time to heat up that big room. We sat with our coats on for at least 20 minutes.
