Did not know it was a shared bathroom. The building is older but quaint. The food was really good. The room was decent for the price but the table and the bedside stand was broken so things slid off.
The property was beautiful and the owners were so friendly! Hotels can’t beat the charm, warmth and hospitality that this place provided. Highly recommended staying here.

Very easygoing ambiance. Owner was engaging & welcoming and aimed to please. Delicious hamburgers & sweet to end a long day of driving with live music and a homestyle "kitchen party" - like environment. We stayed in a spacious, clean room in the cottage located at back of main building. It was good for a one night stay, tho it did have a bit of a damp, musty- like sense. Would still consider stopping again for a Ontario- Maritime trek. I would suggest that lamps/end-tables be placed by 2 beds so guests can read without the overhead lighting.
Loved my stay. There was live music which was an added bonus and he played until midnight.
There is no fridge or bathroom but it still felt private enough as there aren't a lot of rooms.
Food was amazing! Donair and I ancakes were great!
Thanks for the hospitality!
Thanks John and Angela!! Great quiet little mountain inn, felt as if you were staying with friends! Lovely little rooms with shared bathrooms. Restaurant and bar with the live music was a great night “Inn” really close to some nice downhills at Crabbe mountain, biking in summer and skiing in winter. Will be back thats for sure
This was one of the best experience I’ve had staying at an establishment! It is run by a very sweet friendly family who goes above and beyond for their guests!
Our room was so cozy and clean! The bathroom was so clean it felt like no one had ever even used it before!
Breakfast was also delicious and I had the best pancakes I’ve ever had! Not to mention the band who performed Saturday night was so incredibly talented
12/10 will definitely be staying again!!
I loved the live music on the friday night the vibes were great and so was the music. Being able to walk down stairs have a delicious breakfast and do a quick drive to crabbe mountain made it super convenient.
We had a unique experience being the only guests for our stay. They kindly opened the kitchen for our breakfast and supper and were super kind. We never felt rushed.

Rooms were not at all sound proof and though I suspect a great place for people who like to party with the live music until 11 on Fridays and Saturdays, it wasn't a great place for our young family. We stayed in the main building and it was much too loud due to this. Discounted ski passes were a nice touch though. Staff were pleasant, especially the young server we had the first night.

Really wanted to love this place as it was a birthday surprise for my husband. Unfortunately we weren't able to ski as there hasn't been enough snow, but we figured we would go anyway and take in the sights. However we ended up leaving after one night for several reasons. One, the room was tiny. I didn't realize when booking that the bathroom was down the hall. Also, if I was running a lodge with virtually every room available and a couple came in saying they were celebrating a birthday I would upgrade their room immediately. But that didn't happen. Fine. I was also under the impression that breakfast would be available in the morning but when we came downstairs at 9 am the restaurant was empty. No sign of anyone. And there is NOTHING in this area. You have to drive 25 minutes to just get a crummy gas station coffee. That combined with the icy roads and the lack of amenities and we just took the hit for the second night and booked it home. The place looks really cute from the outside though, and maybe it's better in the summer. Disappointing though.
