Relax, in this peaceful family 4 season cottage overlooking Lake Huron. Savor the view while sipping your favorite beverage on the deck as the kids play in the attached park or enjoy the private beach, with access, just steps away!
With 2 bedrooms, a sofa bed and a newly built Bunkie, this property will sleep 6.
Only 4 minutes to Goderich, the prettiest town in Canada, you can enjoy local attractions, wine tours, craft breweries, world class fishing, hiking trails and so much more...
The space
Super comfortable beds with hotel style bedding.
Well equipped kitchen with olive oil, salt & pepper and a few additional seasonings.
We also offer coffee, hot chocolate and an assortment of teas.
Enjoy the 42" TV with Roku channels. If you prefer to keep up with your favorite shows, you can also log into your own streaming channels.
Enjoy the outdoor firepit all year long. Roasting sticks and pie irons are provided for your enjoyment.
Guest access
Guests have access to the whole cottage and property.
On site Bunkie is rented as an add on, makes a great 3rd bedroom for more privacy!
The shed on the property is kept locked and not open for guests.
Other things to note:
The cottage will accommodate 6 guests. The Bunkie is available for an additional $100.00 per night. The additional 100.00 fee is per night and not per guest.

Beautiful place in late summer
Cute cottage in a quiet spot with lots of privacy. Hike to private rock beach down the hill may be difficult for some, but our kids aged 3 and up managed it fine and it’s a perfect place to watch the sunset. Bunkie is nice too.

Amazing!!
It was everything we were hoping for. Even when I had a momentary issue with the lock on the one door and the fridge it was super easy to get ahold of the owner and were kind and helpful. The ONLY reason I gave cleanliness a 4 star and not a 5 star is because the absolute abundance of spiders that were built up over time not usual amount that comes with camping .... a quick hose down or wipe down would prevent this.

Our stay was absolutely enjoyable. We love this little spot. The sunsets are incredibly beautiful and we get a Birdseye view from this cottage. This was our second time here thoroughly enjoyed it.

Early summer get away
Great spot to see the sunsets! Kitchen was well equipped. It is a small quaint cottage that has everything you need ( except a carrot peeler lol) The beds are comfortable and linens provided were great. My dog loved our stay as well. Only suggestion I would give is to have covered kitchen garbage can to keep the ants away. Thank you Shelly for a great stay Liz

Quaint little spot
Small little house in a peaceful neighborhood. A small/medium hike to access a private pebble beach for the sunset. Very close to Goderich. A large fire pit and wood is supplied. Also a large deck with seating and a BBQ! Host is very responsive. Only downside is very low water pressure and tight shower space. Highly recommend!

Disappointing experience
We left at midnight because once the AC and fans were turned off, there was a strong sewage odor from the bathroom. There were other issues as well, such as ants, rattling AC, and an unclean fridge shelf, but it was the odor that made us leave. The owner simply said we were mistaken and there was no smell and scolded me for leaving behind a trash bag (it was pitch black when we left so I didn't know where the garbage outside was located, my mistake). Not even a partial refund was offered. Lesson learned to be more vigilant next time when booking a property.

This cottage was amazing very clean and nice deck, we enjoyed our stay a lot the Goderich area which was only a 10 min drive from the cottage. The sunset from the cottage was beautifull. Overall it was an amazing stay.

Weekend Get Away
This was our first time renting a cabin in Ontario. It held up to our expectations it was clean and the perfect size for our get away. The owners were helpful and responded in a timely fashion when we had a small issue. This cabin had everything you need. We liked that they thought about putting in some some amenities that maybe forgotten (eg tea, coffee, spices). We loved that it was dog ready with a dog towel, poop bags, pegs for the dogs. For us is is important to have a dog friendly cabin as our dogs travel with us all the time. They also had firewood on site that you can use for a donation. This was great as we are outdoors people. The cabin is located a short drive from trails or town. When we’re at the cabin we were fortunate to see a beautiful sunset on the beach that is located a short distance away. We would definitely consider renting this cabin again.

Magical Lake Huron
Fantastic location less two miles from Goderich with access to a gorgeous private beach. Just an easy walk down the escarpment. Everything we needed was included. And extras. And our little dog was welcome. Private, easy access. And just what we needed. My wife and I used it for a getaway writing retreat. Wonderful storage for that. And stars. The night sky is huge. Would certainly go again.

Lovely get-away
The cottage is lovely and what a cottage should be - light, roomy, atmospheric, simple. There was everything you good possible want/need for a weekend or a week's stay, from the organized small appliances and tea/coffee tray to some games/toys for family. One thing - the bathroom is small/tight, to be expected for a cottage - a certain sized person would not fit thru door, in the shower, or sit on the loo. I look forward to return visit.
