Over all our stay was so very Beautiful for the scenery but average for the price we paid. I was very ill from the Tuna I ate on the first day of our stay, and trying to relay this was difficult because the staff although very friendly did not seem to understand. Our other meals were average for the prices paid compared with other Sri Lankan food we’ve eaten on a low budget. There were many hidden costs, lots of service charges which would have been good to know before bundled on the end of your check out bill. Dont be mislead by the photos of crystal clear water in the pool, although it was very refreshing to be cool! our pool was green as it is filled everyday from a pond upstream (added froggy friends) and takes around 2 hours to fill (ask early in the day) We visited some breath taking waterfalls in the area that we would otherwise have missed but direct travel to and from the resort was expensive. 6.5/10 Harry was lovely! :)

Nice hotel in the middle of the mountains

Posted Sep. 24, 2017 on Expedia
Pros: The relaxing environment and experience, good food selection.
Cons: More people speaking english.
Location: Rafting, Adam's Peak
Very relaxing experience, amazing view of the forest and mountain, friendly staff + they have a tuk tuk service if you happen to need something from the town. Great food and tea. Loved the hammocks.

Eco nature style cottage-hotel in an amazing area but sadly they never Maintain it.The cottage was not exactly as described.do not have a balcony and a good view . It was also not spacious. Nothing similar to photos online, the Management should get the Staff to focus on more cleaning ex. room outside glass is not clean, room and the bathroom too,

Excellent 3 nights stay!

Posted Oct. 19, 2015 on Expedia
Pros: The staff was very accomodating. Thank you Jayanga, Sanjeewa, Sumikh, Asanka and all the staff. (It's all men btw!)
Location: The location is deep into the forest and tea plantation. There is a tea factory called Greenwood estate and they provide free tour for hotel guests.
I arrived at the hotel at night. It was dark and snakey drive up to the hotel. Can't see much at night. However, when daylight comes, the place looks amazing. It is right in the middle of the tea plantations and I had the pleasure to see the lovely ladies plucking the teas. I hanged out at the lobby (which is outdoor) most of the time as it was raining during the whole afternoon. I did not went out during my stay except to the tea factory tour. This place is for nature lovers. There's mosquitos/flies, but hey, you're in the forest! Gear up beforehand. It is wild out there.

The location is great The family have a tea factory next to the hotel and they kindly propose us to visit the Factory! The restaurant is not great and a little bit expensive! The staff is very Nice !!! The room is clean and very confortable but with more care it will be perfect! ++ if the pool was available to use and not dirty this hotel would be perfect !
