Gorgeous seclusion!

As described, it is beautifully situated on a private lake deep in the countryside of Michigan’s upper peninsula, while offering every comfort of home. We took full advantage of the fire pit, lake view, and the trails. Our host was very responsive when we had questions. The ONLY reason I have it 4 stars in “cleanliness”is due to flies, which is to be expected in a wooded setting.

Great Fishing in the Great North Woods

It was so nice to get away from everything to spend time with our kids and fish and relax. The hosts Greg and Katie are very responsive.

Perfect Birthday getaway
Publié le 1 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayA group of us went to celebrate a 40th birthday. This place was everything we were looking for. It was very secluded with no neighbors in sight! There were 11 of us and 2 dogs. We did a lot of fishing and paddle boarding (the boat and 2 paddle boards were provided at no extra cost!). Being from the city we all really enjoyed star gazing and we all saw shooting stars. The house was clean, the kitchen was well stocked and there was laundry on site. 10/10 would recommend staying here and we hope to rent this place again. Host was very responsive and readily answered all of our questions. Major plus for being a pet friendly property

Can't beat the privacy
Publié le 21 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayNothing but great things to say about the location and property. We came up in the summer and had so much fun enjoying the lake.
The owner was gracious and communicated extremely well with all of our questions.
I do wish that the beach area had a little bit more care put into it and the deck has some alarmingly large gaps for small children feet and pets. We will definitely come back to get off the grid again though!
