A Northwoods Paradise

This may be the most special property we have ever stayed in the U.S. The owners have built a secluded oasis that will take your breath away. The attention to detail is second to none, and at every turn, something else just grabs your eye and makes you say well done. The log home is simply beautiful. The amenities are spot on, and virtually nothing forgotten. We had the pleasure of staying 3 nights, and during that time, we never heard a sound of the world. Honestly, not a car, airplane, highway sound, nothing. The only sound we heard was wind, water, rain...and silence. Oh, that sweet sound of silence.
The jacuzzi, sauna and pool were incredible, and is there really anything better than listening to a fire, the only light, that of the dancing flames? Honestly, do not ever hesitate to book with these fine people.
It has been a crazy year, and this was the perfect way to reconnect and rediscover. This was paradise.
I've seen several reviews where people complained about this and that, silly things, like there's a giant cross in the living room. Rest easy, it's not giant, it's the same size most of us grew up with in our homes, and it's actually very nice to see that there are those amongst us still living the way they believe without fear of offending others. Follow their very simple rules, respect their property, take time to clear your mind and just breathe, and you too will fall in love with the world again. Thank you so much T & M!!

MI paradise!

We planned some ‘cabin only’ days during our trip to MI and I’m so glad we did. We enjoyed our time at this cabin so much! It’s a perfect place to relax and unwind!! A MI paradise!

Beautiful Solitude

Definitely a remote location, but with an indoor pool, hot tub and sauna there is everything you need to just sit back, relax and recharge and, the dock offers the ability to try your hand at fishing or just enjoy sitting in the sun. Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a luxurious cabin experience. Owners were very prompt to respond to any questions we had during our stay. We will definitely return.

Family Vacation

First, prompt is an understatement to describe how fast the owners will get back to you if you have any problems, no matter how small and they are extremely thorough in making sure the problem gets solved! The pool and hot tub room were a special extra that we loved using to spend more time as a family just relaxing. We spent a lot of time on the dock enjoying the incredible view and the lake water was warm and a nice depth to be able to enjoy while still being able to touch the bottom. Everything about this cabin was wonderful and relaxing. It is quite a ways from sight seeing, however, I think everything is pretty spread out in the UP so it was not an inconvenience to us at all. We just took our time and enjoyed ourselves. The internet was a little spotty but again, you are in the middle of amazing wilderness and on vacation so it didn't bother us but if you are needing to work or something, it is just something to be aware of. This cabin had everything we needed to be able to relax and recharge! We will definitely be back!

Jaw Dropping
Publié le 18 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThis property is AMAZING! From start to finish, this was by far the best vacation and best rental we have stayed at. Tim and Melanie are so kind. The house is like a dream come true, from the gate opening, to the parking pad, to the porches, to the dock & lake, to the pool room. Everything is just as listed. Hosts had great communication. It was like living as royalty for a week. My mother wants to buy some of the same decorations, like the lights to the dock and the kitchen lights. We explored the area, UP is just magical. I am so glad we made the drive there, so many treasures, especially this home. We are already planning to return!
