Great house for large families
Publié le 3 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house accommodated our family's needs very well. If space is what you need, then, this is the right house for you. The kitchen had the right amount of pantry room and cooking space; the living room and dining room allowed us to eat, watch tv, and play games as a family. The patio was large enough for us to hang out around the pool while the kids swam. We especially loved the room with the 4 double beds and twin bunks; it's just right for a large family or a place for the kids to have their own room. We enjoyed the amenities of the clubhouse as well. If we were to continue our family tradition of renting vacation homes, we'd definitely rent from here again. Any questions or concerns we had were answered within 24 hours by Andrew. Location is great.

Our stay
Publié le 30 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayOverall we had a good time. Just a few issues. The dishwasher was broken, when they came to repair it they couldn’t and would need to replace it. The date of replacement would be the day we checked out! With 30 guests washing and cleaning dishes by hand took a lot of time. We ordered a grill for our stay. When we finally were ready to eat we noticed the grill was no where to be found. So we cooked inside. The grill never came and when I reached out they responded quickly saying it will be there the next day. We got it in the late afternoon the next day. The washer took over an hour to do a load and the dryer took hours to dry a load. The pool filter barely worked. I noticed on day 3 the water was cloudy and didn’t let anyone use it anymore. The kids were so bummed. Then the last day out of the 30 guests, 24 left very sick. Throwing up and diarrhea. Later throughout the day every single one of us were sick. It ended awfully!! I believe the house made us all sick. Couldn’t have been the food like we all thought because some people who were sick didn’t eat what we all ate. The common denominator was the house and pool. I will say that check out was really good because the owner let us recoup for a few hours since we were so sick. Most of us couldn’t even begin to drive that morning of check out.

Hello Yovanna, I am very surprised by this review. You left the home in a very unsatisfactory condition; the pool was contaminated, and you failed to leave at the agreed time (despite my granting additional time for departure). You only stayed 3 nights (Fri, Sat & Sun) but inflicted considerable damage across the whole home. Trying to blame your experience with food poisoning on the house is both unreasonable and libelous. I am sorry you experienced an issue with the dishwasher. It was fully functional prior to your arrival (having last been tested the morning of your arrival). It was not possible to repair it over the weekend, because it would have taken time to obtain the needed parts. The dishwasher was replaced the day after your departure (as soon as was possible). There was no issue with either the washer or dryer, both were found to be fully functional. Instructions for correct use of the laundry equipment were provided to you. Overloading the washer and dryer not only extends program times, but it also compromises the effectiveness of the laundry appliances. I am very disappointed to discover the way the house and pool were treated during your stay and how the home was left after your departure. I am saddened that your vacation was compromised by illness. However, I don’t agree with your attempts to make libelous statements as a means of exacting revenge for your unfortunate experience.

Not the best

I communicated everything with management. They made it seem like everything was ok but turned around and billed us for other things that were not right prior to my arrival.
Will not do it again.

I am disappointed to read your retaliatory review after you caused substantial damage to the homes outside furniture. You did report a cracked refrigerator drawer upon arrival, but other than that, no issues were reported by you. Unfortunately, I am unable to absorb the costs of such damages and you were charged accordingly. Your review is evidently inconsistent with most reviews received for this home and I am sorry you felt the need to attempt to discredit what is a very popular and well-maintained vacation home.
