I wanted to be close to the train station in order to take the many 1 day tours available, and this hotel served its purpose. However, it was being renovated on the first floor and with only a very small sign visible, so I walked by it numerous times before finding it. The room was fine, clean but the staff must have opened up the windows to air out the room since I asked for a smoke-free room (Smoking is permitted in all rooms). The first night, there were lots of mosquitoes and I had to kill 6 of them, 2 more the following night, before I slept well the third night. Walls were not well sound proofed, and I can hear various noises from adjacent rooms, as well as water running through the pipes. The shower is a bit narrow, which is ok for glass, but shower curtains tends to drift back and stick to your skin. The dispenser for soap/shampoo is not well located, to close to the faucet handle such as dispensing soap would easily move the handle and hence the water temperature. Luckily, it shifts it to cold, not hot. I gave a good rating because it was conveniently located for my needs, and that it was inexpensive. At USD $22 per night (no breakfast), it was very affordable.
