Lovely Bungalow in private , secluded neighborhood near Carrboro

Delightful space for family gatherings or small group of friends, nestled in a friendly, inclusive country neighborhood. Owner lives next door and ready to help if there is an issue but you will feel secluded in this lovingly appointed house in the woods. This is a great place to relax with family for a few days or to just stay in a truly peaceful space while you decompress with friends. Nice fenced in back yard with deck and grill will help you enjoy the outdoors with a wooded view. Front porch looks out onto the country drive and more trees. Woods right next to the house can be explored too. The house is 10 minutes to Carrboro downtown with shopping and restaurants. There is a Food Lion and a Chinese restaurant about 8 minutes away . We are close to Chapel Hill and not far from Durham, both offering more options. If you plan to stay for more than a month please contact me for special rates . Please , no loud parties, and gatherings should be limited to 10 people. You may hear professional musicians practicing down the street sometimes if you are outside but it is never loud. If you want to check in early or check out late please just book the extra date. I can not guarantee altered timetables unless you do that since it takes time to clean the house between guests and often they bookings are back to back.
Please pay the pet fee if you are bringing pets, and please not we do not allow cats.

Very nice visit
It was a very nice place in a quiet setting which we enjoyed. Having 2 full bathrooms was useful for our family getting ready for a wedding. It had everything we needed or wanted, and the whole process was very smooth.

Great Weekend in Chapel Hill
We stayed here for a family wedding that was happening at the Honeysuckle Tea House. It was a great spot - I felt safe here. Though for someone who is used to a city that might not be the case as it is on a stone road with zero street lights. It didn’t bother me because I’m used to that. Everything was very clean and welcoming! Thank you for providing a wonderful place to stay!

A real gem for family gatherings
The perfect property for a family stay while attending a wedding at the nearby Honeysuckle Tea House. The home was extremely comfortable and well-appointed, with plenty of space to relax both inside and out. Very quiet location, yet convenient to popular restaurants and other amenities.

Good property to stay at. Location definitely secluded. Can not see mailbox from road especially when dark. Alot of spiders in the house we had to kill. Maybe having spider repellant sprayed around property would be great.

Great location to the wedding venue! We were very comfortable with our stay at this cute bungalow. This was the perfect place to have all the girls get ready and take pre-wedding photos. The house had everything we needed.

My family stayed here during our stay for our daughter’s graduation from Elon. Loved the proximity to Carrboro and all the restaurants in town. The place was clean and had everything we need and very comfortable for us to relax during a busy weekend. The owner was communicative and responsive to questions before and during our stay. Practical Convenient Family Stay House
Kitchen, Laundry and Bathrooms are the strong points for this listing. Inside was clean and comfortable. Outside had great parking with easy entrance, but porch, deck and yard furniture were dirty and not kept up well. This lovely wooded area caused a late night Uber to be a bit anxious.

Both sets of grandparents shared the property while visiting for a family birthday celebration in Chapel Hill. We enjoyed a lovely stay in a quiet woodsy neighborhood. The house was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. We would love to stay here again!

A little slice of rural just outside the Chapel Hill/Carrboro area. The home is cozy, clean and Veva is a great, responsive owner. Our family of four and dog enjoyed our stay.

Second Visit
This was our second stay at Veva's place in outlying Chapel Hill. The house was sparkling clean and generously supplied with good linens, comfortable beds, cookware and kitchen utensils. The fenced yard and woodland paths just outside the door were perfect for our pup. Thanks!

Quiet, secluded house
Great house, well equipped with nice quiet location. Stayed for a family wedding and had a fabulous time until we were locked out when trying to get our young daughter ready for bedtime. Had difficulty getting the hosts to respond and took a while for us to get back inside. Would stay again but would likely ask for a spare key just in case.
