Welcome to Chateau Relaxo! This 1890's farmhouse is the perfect spot for family reunions, wedding parties, guys/gals weekend or a large retreat.
The farmhouse has 6 bedrooms, 6 1/2 bath and sleeps 20 (6 king bedrooms, 1 queen, 2 twin beds, 2 daybeds with trundle twins).

If additional space is needed we have a barndominium with 3 bedrooms, 1 1/2 bath that sleeps 7 (2 king, 1 queen, 1 twin) for an additional fee.
If interested in renting the barndominium please contact through email before booking.

The farmhouse includes luxury sheets/bedding, towels, a full kitchen perfect for home cooked meals, multiple coffee makers with coffee, AC/Heat, soaking tub in two of the bedrooms, a full bathroom for all six king bed master suites, half bath off the kitchen, free WIFI, Direct TV, board games, ping pong table in the garage, toys for babies/small children upon request, washer/dryer, ironing board with iron and a hair dryer.

-The dining room offers three different tables that seat a total of 24 for the many gatherings to come.
-There are 3 fridges total (house, garage and pool house) for those who like to plan their meals ahead to bring.
-There are 2 stoves in the farmhouse kitchen and an additional stove in the pool house for your large gatherings
- Large Weber gas grill for outside grilling and a Komodo Joe grill (must provide your own lump charcoal for this grill)
- Large fire pit outside to sit around with family and friends or make smores (must provide your own wood)
-The pool house has a full kitchen and full bathroom. Enjoy the pool and hot tub and gaze at the stars with a night swim or relax on the back porch of the pool house.
-The gazebo seats 8 comfortably with outdoor lighting for a tranquil setting to enjoy morning coffee or drinks with friends during the incredible sunsets.
Watching for deer or hogs down by the creek is a common sighting. Please note that this is the country and there are critters like armadillos, raccoons, coyotes, rabbits, hogs, snakes and others that you may hear or see around the property. If you choose to venture out on the back of the property you do so at your own risk.
Enjoy the country setting just don't leave food outside overnight for them to enjoy when you head off to bed.

Fabulous weekend
Wonderful home for our group of 13 adults! Clean, great communication from the host! One friendly suggestion - it would have been helpful to provide storage solutions for leftovers: Saran Wrap, Foil, disposable aluminum pans/containers. We had a wonderful catered dinner and had a hard time storing leftovers. Other than that, everything was perfection! We'd love to book this home again for our next family event!

Lovely weekend
We had a fantastic weekend with our group. Brenda was a pleasure to deal with and responded very quickly. The property was fantastic and the beds were very comfortable. The pool was perfect and it was nice to have the pool house to store snacks and beverages while swimming. We had a small problem and they were quick to come over to access the problem and then offered a quick solution. We would definitely stay again.

This property is a perfect stay for a large group or family. My family consist of 13 people ages 7 through 68. It is comfortable, clean and very spacious. The host is very prompt in responding to our needs. 3rd year in a row that we've stayed. Looking forward to next year.

Nice Weekend with Friends
We stayed here for our 6th annual friends weekend getaway. With 12 adults there was plenty of room for everyone! The pool was perfect for the hot days. And the pool house was great to keep snacks and drinks close. The shaded driveway was the perfect place for evening cornhole. Large dining areas with large tables could accommodate everyone at once. Although it is just off a major road we barely heard any road noise while outside. The hosts were very responsive and kind. We hope to be able to stay here again! 10 out of 10 would recommend this lovely old farm house.

Family Reunion
Chateau Relaxo was the perfect house for our family reunion. The bedrooms with king beds and private baths were great for our mostly adult group. The pool was a cool retreat from the heat and the pool house came in very handy. Beautiful house with plenty of seating at meals for our group. Brenda was very prompt with answers to any questions we had especially when we had an issue with the pool. Hopefully, if she lets us, we would book again but take advantage of booking the "barn" for extra space for family members that couldn't make it this year. Thanks Brenda for sharing this wonderful property with us.

Amazing family reunion
83 year old parents with 3 children and 3 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Cousin Camp. This was the perfect place and the host were so great and accommodating. We will definitely visit again.

Great spot for a mini reunion with family!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The kids loved the pool and hot tub. We had fun playing ping pong, croquet, corn hole and walking through the field of wildflowers. It was the perfect setup for 5 families to have their own rooms and bathrooms - lots of space to spread out. The location was close to the Blue Bell factory and a local lavender farm. Gorgeous country get-away!
This was a treat! Everyone was EXTREMELY happy with the beautiful house, the immense space, the hot tub and pool house, and the kitchen amenities. I appreciated the number of king beds! All the kiddos had somewhere comfy to sleep and lots of spots to play. I enjoyed all the dining tables so we could set up our dominoes and card games. The dogs enjoyed the large fenced yard, and I had a lot of fun tromping around by the pond in the mud. The house is RIGHT off 290, super easy to access and find. We enjoyed eating at Chappell Hill Sausage and 'touring' downtown Chappell Hill. Spent a little time in Brenham, too. This is a great spot for a little bit of remoteness but ability to go out to a dinner not too far away.

Amazing home for a large group
We had a wonderful time and loved how spacious, clean and private everything was. Being able to seat our large group for dinner and private bedrooms with King size beds was perfect for our group. The host was quick to respond when we had a few questions. Will be back year after year!

Great location and excellent gateway for large groups.
Beautiful property, specious rooms. Very relaxing and comfortable. We were a large groups of 10 adults and 5 kids (age 1 to 8), everyone had a plenty of space to spread out and kids really enjoyed during Christmas weekend. Pool house and sounding area was beautiful and well maintained. The owner was very responsive and provided all the necessary information before and during our stay. Perfect home for a family celebration
Our family had a wonderful time at the Chateau Relaxo! When we arrived, everyone said the same thing: Wow! It's a beautiful property & a perfect setting for our family gathering! There was plenty of room to spread out and lovely areas to gather for barbecuing, playing games and enjoy the pool. Everything was clean and comfy. The host was very friendly and attentive. Absolutely Perfect Property!!!
This Beautiful, very well maintained property could not have been more perfect for our Girl’s Weekend! The pool has a chiller that was so nice for the over 100 degree temperatures. There were plenty of beds, baths, dining areas, and the 2 family rooms made it so comfortable for all of us. The owners are extremely nice and accommodating. I will definitely go back!!!

End of Summer Getaway!
Our families from Austin, Houston, and Fort Worth enjoyed this property so much, even with the Texas heat! The swimming pool was the best place to spend the day, and the shade trees provided hours of cornhole fun! The pool house was an added bonus for games and snack time! Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and sleep very comfortably! The house was so clean, with great sheets and towels. We couldn’t have asked for a better place and we’ll be back!

Great house for large groups
We were a large group of 5 couples and 10 kids ranging in age from 14 - 2, everyone had plenty of space to spread out and to gather as a group. The beds were all very comfortable and the fact that most rooms had en suite bathrooms was wonderful! The pictures don’t actually represent the amount of space the house has. 3 large separate living areas and 3 eating areas have us a ton of space. The fully equipped pool house was also a life saver on a very hot weekend. The owners were quick and attentive and resolved a couple of on sight issues quickly and efficiently so we didn’t miss a beat on one trip.

Excellent home! Bedrooms and beds for all the grandkids and that makes it fun for all. Great time with 9 adults and 2 little ones. Swimming was great fun. Pool house was so handy. Third Family Vacation
We once again enjoyed our stay. The pool as always was a big hit. We did encounter 3 live scorpions in the house. For the second year the hot water in the sunken two bathrooms had a sulphur smell to it. The new refrigerator was very nice.

Great family and friends getaway!
We stayed at this house with 3 other families with small children and there were still 3 bedrooms left. The house has expansive living space to accommodate children playing and parents relaxing. The pool, hot tub and pool house were a hit as well. We would recommend this house to anyone in a large group!
