Roach motel
Whenever we checked in, we left because we had reservations for some things with family so we left. We did not go into the room, so we came back around 9pm and I went to get a shower. As I was getting in the shower my fiance told me there was a roach. I took this picture and went to the front desk, they would not give me another room or try to help resolve the situation. Which we are hours away from home.

Fantastic. It's clean, it's affordable, it's convenient. The service is wonderful. Mr. Harry and the young man who worked the desk at night make you feel right at home, and they're ready to help with anything you need. If you find yourself needing a room in hurricane, go to Motel 6.

What I Expected
The room wasn't the worst I've stayed in, but beware it is not the best. Our toilet handle broke off, but we fixed it fairly quickly. The air conditioning and the water pressure was good, but mostly everything was low quality. The room itself was very worn down and not the cleanest. We found a lot of hairs and stains on the bed sheets and other fabrics. The shower had some chips on the bottom as well. Just beware, its not the best, but we ended up having a great stay otherwise! No bugs or other deal breakers.
