Everything was excellent except the parking lot which had dead trees, weeds in walkways and uncut grass. For very little money, you make a much better first impression.

Outside area a little questionable especially at night but safe. Only 1 working elevator due to construction. Room nice and comfortable while traveling with 16 yr old. Breakfast bar good.

Go stay somewhere else.
Posted Jul. 30, 2024 on HotelsIf you are looking to stay in downtown Charleston, just pay the extra $50 to stay in a nicer hotel. While the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, the sheets and towels were bright and clean, the actually infrastructure of the hotel is less than desirable. The pool is incredibly small and there was only one working elevator when I was there and it felt like it was going to break at any moment. Cheers to the staff who make it work, but Best Western really needs to invest in the inside of the hotels.
