Nice hotel

It is one of the nicer places to stay in Charlavoix. I will return in the future. We did have a problem when checking in. Edgewater said we didn't have a reservation and they do not online booking. I did have a confermation from Hotels.com when I booked my stay. Edgewater did have vacancies so I was still able to get a room. I did call Hotels.com and ask them and they confirmed I did have a reservation and called Edgewater. Dewatering did tell they dot do online e booking so this made no sense. I never heard back from Hotels.com. I assumed I would have received an email or phone call apologizing for this mix up. I normally don't do third party booking and probably won't again.

Great location, not very clean

We were not very happy with the cleanliness of the room when we arrived, floor looked like it wasn't vacuumed,dishes in cupboards were filthy. The next day housekeeping never even cleaned our room and when they came the following day, they came in took out garbage and gave us new towels. They didn't touch the floors, countertops or make the beds.
