This recently remodeled home sits at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac dotted with mature trees. No In the morning, enjoy breakfast on the back patio overlooking a large backyard and adjacent woods filled with birds and other wildlife. In the evening, you may see turkey or deer walk along the tree line as you relax around the fire pit. This 3-bedroom/2.5 bath home is perfect for a family get-away, long-term stays, or a stop-over on your way to the Blue Ridge Mountains. It's also a great option if you are looking to relocate to the Charlotte area and need time to find your forever home. Minutes away from grocery and other stores, this beautiful house is also close to local horse farms and 30 minutes or less from Charlotte, Carowinds, Lake Wylie, Crowders Mountain, and Catawba 2 Kings Casino. (Please no parties or events). The fireplace in the house is not operable.

JUST OK
Pictures looked like house, if you are going to cook - good luck. not at lot of supplies and we found lots dirty. Worst sleeper sofa ever. went first of Dec. the yard was totally covered with leaves and limbs. the house had been remodeled but old furnishings. When I booked house I asked if I could have a small family gathering (my family is from that area) besides the 8 that was staying and Mark said it was fine. There was about 16 there for about 5 hrs to celebrate late Thanksgiving early Christmas, Owner charged me 100 extra after telling me it was ok. I left the house lots cleaner and in good order when I left. If you're just staying overnight then it will do.

The house was clean and tidy. However, when we arrived, someone was parked in the drive. We had to knock on a door to find the owner of the vehicle in order to park. Once inside, the temperature was 52 degrees. We turned on the heat and by the next morning, it was only 62 degrees. We had to sleep in our clothes because it was so cold on the inside of the house. Other than these issues, we liked the house.

Country in the City
Loved the character of the house and its hominess. It had everything needed to prepare meals and bake some pastries. The guys enjoyed the woods and fire pit . Thank you for sharing your home, we had a great time with our family.

Quiet getaway
This house/location was just what we needed for our vacation. Very quiet area about 20 mins from mountains/grocery stores. We enjoyed Tony's Ice Cream and Enzo's Pizza in Gastonia but made all other meals at the home. We visited the botanical gardens and were less than an hour from Great Wolf Lodge. Our group of 3 adults and 1 child all had their own space. As mentioned in other reviews, staircase is steep and all bedrooms are on the 2nd story (may not be best choice for the elderly).There is a handrail and we all took it slow. Great laundry room and comfy furniture. Beautiful backyard that my niece loved running around in. We loved the outdoor recliners and have purchased some for our own home. Thanks, Mark, for sharing your home with us. We made some great memories on this trip!

Fantastic getaway
Simply immaculate! The property was so peaceful, loved drinking coffee on the screened in porch! So beautifully decorated! The host had everything, from snacks to breakfast stuff even a bottle of chilled wine in the refrigerator! Spices to cook with, and coffee and tea of different kinds! He even had coffee beans and a grinder if someone like me wanted to do that!! We plan on returning!!

Older home in a peaceful neighborhood not too far from town. Only issue we had was all bedrooms are located on the second floor so older adults had to climb the stairs which were a little steep. Otherwise no complaints. Host responded timely to all communications.

Country feel convenient location
My wife and I were visiting family and attended a wedding over the weekend. Our family lives never York SC and the wedding was at Separk Mansion in Gastonia NC. The house was conveniently located between the two locations. The house was impeccably clean and Mark our host was so helpful and accommodating. We'll definitely stay again.
