The house had an odd smell and felt like someone was currently living in it. We had to put sheets on ourselves, which would have been okay, but the sheets were all pilled and overused. None of the towels matched and were so thin. The fan in our room did not work. The glasses had lipstick stains. The cabinets / drawers were so cluttered there was no way to see what was even in them to use. The drains in the shower were clogged immediately.. standing in water while showering the first day. None of it prohibited our ability to stay but was not a level of VRBO we prefer. Please keep this in mind when booking.

NODA- Charlotte NC Great location
Publié le 12 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat house. Bed sheets were provided on beds but you need to make them. Sheets where miss matched to bed sets and we had to rummage through linen closet to find correct sizes. Shelves were marked but disorganized. No notes in description as to bringing your own bath soaps, coffee and other basic things that you need for a short stay. We’ve used many VRBO’s and never been instructed to start the wash. Wasn’t real comfortable leaving the washer running when we left but I did. Also, there was still a full load of towels in the dryer? I would stay there again but would be way more prepared. Also, we did not have to contact property manager so I can’t honestly answer that ?. They’ll where great about sending info on getting in and leaving.

TN Football Weekend
Publié le 8 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayLoved the “Noda” area we stayed in. Super fun and great restaurants within walking distance. The house was nice and perfect for our needs. Quiet neighborhood, spacious living area, roomy kitchen with ample accessories for cooking breakfast. The beds were a little small as only 1 king bed in master. Would stay there again on return trip! Publié le 2 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis home is spacious, comfortable, quiet and located in one of the best neighborhoods in Charlotte. But several aspects of the property made our stay lackluster and a little weird including: a malfunctioning stove, very cheap synthetic sheets, some dirty walls, only a few towels, and minimal kitchen supplies. I also found it strange that we had to make and strip the beds upon arrival and departure.
While it met our basic needs my impression was that it would be better suited to folks who are staying for a longer period of time with a larger group than ours. It was clean but not in great condition and overall it didn't feel like a good value.

Disc Golf Getaway Stay
Publié le 23 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayNeeded a nice home base for a visit to Charlotte to play several rounds of disc golf at some amazing local courses. All four of us had an individual bedroom to sleep in and we enjoyed a large open living room area. Great neighborhood with excellent local restaurants and bars. I would highly recommend anyone staying at this property.

Family Christmas

The layout is excellent and there is plenty of space for a larger group.We had family staying here and some family lives locally so they were able to visit during the day. The parking Is a little nerve wracking because no street parking is allowed and this is strictly enforced. I am a retired elementary school teacher so I am a rule follower to the max. Unfortunately, we had 4 couples and three of the four had to bring 2 cars due to scheduling issues. That meant extra cars. The driveway works well and we had a couple of cars on the grass at times so it worked out. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. There were a couple of minor issues the first time we stayed last year and those had all been addressed since then. Overall it was a great experience and a great start to our holiday!

Lacking customer service and listing

The king bed was on the floor so it was low. No beds were made, pillows were stained and lumpy. Dishes in cabinets were visibly dirty. Pile of towels left in laundry room, couldn't tell if they were clean or dirty so we washed them.
Emailed our contact twice and never received a response. All and all, the house itself was nice but customer service and things listed above need work. A clean made bed, and decent pillows is a must. The possibility of people bringing their own linens is an excuse not to do a job. Im on vacation, not there to work or do someone elses job. Very disappointed this time. I usually depend on VRBO to do a better job
