The only two good aspects about this hotel: it's located three minutes from the Charlotte airport and a young lady at the reception was very nice and helpful. The bad experience was full of bad situations: 1. One lady at the reception (with a Green Bay football team hoody) was very rude. 2. We booked a room for three people (with a king-size bed and a sofa/bed), the rude lady gave us a room with only the king-size bed and she argued about it when we went downstairs to ask for the correct room. 3. When we got the correct room it didn't have the linens for the sofa and extra towels for the third person. 4. We tried to call the lobby to ask for the sheets but the phone in the room was broken (missing buttons and no dial tone). The room was in bad shape, the door of the bathroom couldn't close. I used the trash can to keep it closed. 5. We went downstairs again to ask for the sheets and towels and the rude lady argued that they were inside a drawer under the TV (but they were not because we checked the closet, all the drawers and cabinets before going downstairs). The other young lady immediately got me the fresh sheets and towels. 6. The hotel is under major remodeling, the main gates and a big part of the parking lot are blocked with construction materials and equipment. The hotel posted some letter-size signs outside to guide you to a side access door but it's hard to see them at night. Inside the hotel is very confusing (and dangerous) to find the exits/lobby.

Old and outdated

We stayed on the first floor. Room 101. It looked like the room had been previously broken into but the lock still worked. Hotel was expensive for feeling like it was no better than a motel kinda vibe.

Overall cleanlinesss for a Marriot was extremely low. I felt like people were living in the hotel as their home.

Cancelled Flight Rescue

The front desk staff was amazing! I was there because of a last minute flight cancellation. Got much needed rest in a great room.
