Awful. Not only were the rooms so gross my wife and I felt like we couldn’t move, when we left our car with them with promise of an airport transfer they left us stranded at the airport. Would never stay here again

Been here many times, but maintenance is lacking. Front desk person wore a "hoodie" and no clue about service. Assigned rooms with no hot water. I refused and requested a credit for the room. He said on Friday that manager would return Monday. Front desk was insulting to numerous customers, take room or leave! If no credit issued, I will stop payment ! Moved next door to and paid twice the room rate, just to get some hot water. Temp outside was 35 degrees.

Check in around 9 pm was very slow as it was all done manually. There were several people in the lobby with hoodies and masks so you could not see their face. Very uncomfortable feeling. Then when we got to the room it had a very bad odor. Very disappointed!!

The room was okay, and the bed was excellent, but despite being a non-smoking facility, clearly people were smoking in their rooms. The place has a pervasive smell of smoke, even in our room. There is one elevator and it is SLOW. But the people were very nice.

La Quinta stay
The room was nice & clean. Comfy beds & adequate amenities. The staff was friendly & helpful, the breakfast was filling. The location was close to the highway (I-77) & near many restaurants & other attractions. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

It was ok, didn’t like the fact of having to change multiple rooms due to rooms having roaches. No smoking facility but the hallways smelled heavy with marijuana. Not gonna stay again, very disappointed in the hotel.

The hotel wasn't very clean. The carpet was stained and outdated. The hotel really need to be renovated. I can tell that it is very old and a lot of the walls had chipped paint.I was told that they didn't have housekeeping by the receptionist. The hallways reeked of the smell of marijuana. The door to my room also didn't work well. I had to turn the door handle the opposite way and also had to request another room key because it wasn't working as well.

The hotel was dirty, the rugs were all stained in the hallways and in the room. Honestly I would of left but I already paid and need a few hours of sleep before I checkout. Also the hotel has a shuttle app that I used when I arrived at the Charlotte airport, the app kept telling me the driver is on the way. After 30 minutes seeing that no one showed up I called the hotel and told the attendant what happened with the app he stated that I needed to call them. I told him then why do you have the app? Why is the app telling me someone is on the way? He said the driver will be there in 10-15 minutes it ended being 30 minutes. So I waited 1 hr. for there shuttle service. When I arrived at the hotel I asked again why do they have an app that does not activate the shuttle system? He now had a new story stating that he did not see it and the he just started his shift. He was very polite but overall the service was horrible and the place was dirty inside. I will never stay at that hotel again.
