Romantic Lakefront Suite with Great Views

This spacious guest suite is brand new and built in 2018, it is a private bedroom/bathroom located as part of our house on the ground level. Guests can use the separate room with a table and chairs for eating. The Suite also has its own entrance. The Suite is appointed with hardwood flooring and new furnishings. The Suite is part of a 6000sq. ft. home situated on a point lot with amazing views of Lake Norman. Wake up and see the sunrise or relax on the dock and watch the sunset over the lake! Enjoy the views from the 7 person hot tub. The separate structure (boathouse) on the property is not the suite.

Use the paddle board, canoe, 2 kayaks and floats provided which can be found in the standalone boathouse also pictured. We also have a 1 bedroom apartment that sleeps 4 on the property. Property number1076055 that will work for small family or friends wanting to get together, both have private entrances. There are 2 friendly Golden Retrievers on the property.

Wouldn’t change a thing
This stay was perfect. The views were amazing. The property provided everything one could think of. We’ve never stayed somewhere that we didn’t have to bring trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, and dish soap. They even provided hygiene products, towels and sheets, coffee, creamer, sugar, paper plates, napkins and utensils. When I say everything, I mean everything. We highly recommend this rental and plan to go again as soon as we can.

Better than anyone could of expected
The location was incredible and the home was beautiful. Waking up to the view of the lake was perfect. The dogs were great, freindly and loving. We were there for only one night but will definitely try to stay here again.

Lake Norman House
Wonderful stay at a beautiful lakeside house. Accommodations were exemplary and the suite was very clean. Hostess was exceptional in anticipating your needs and providing all necessary amenities. Truly enjoyed our stay and the quiet environment that the property offered. Puppies were an added bonus.

Beautiful property
Although we didn’t get to enjoy the property very much it was really beautiful. The lake views are gorgeous. The suite is private and just as described. Really comfy bed, nice towels, coffee and coffee supplies. Dawn is really nice and we talked to her a couple times while we were there. We didn’t need anything but if we did she was very accessible and the communication was great. We would definitely stay there again if in the area. When you get there you will be greeted by two or three huge, fluffy, sweet as can be golden retrievers. We brought our dog and Dawn was very accommodating so the dogs had their own private time outside. Dogs or not, you will not be disappointed in your stay here.

Nearby Getaway
What a great nearby getaway to celebrate our anniversary! In less than 45 minutes from home, we found the guest suite and amenities as perfect as described in the listing. There aren’t words to capture the beauty of the water views and sunsets that we experienced while on the property. Dawn and Steve were quick to respond to any questions or clarifications. We loved seeing part of the lake that we’ve not seen and the peace and tranquility in April were unmatched.

Perfect Getaway Spot
We live in Charlotte and wanted a close by spot to spend our anniversary and this place did not disappoint. The room was just as pictured, very roomy and very clean. Everything we needed was there. The view of the lake was gorgeous! The owner was very friendly (as well her dogs) but not intrusive at all. Hot tub on the deck was great on a chilly day. I would definitely stay again and recommend to my friends.

Just what two busy professionals needed
We were hoping that this would be a really relaxing weekend and it did not disappoint. The view from our suite was magnificent. We had a wonderful view of Lake Norman and the space had every amenity you could think of. The hosts were great as well. We talked to Dawn and she was so pleasant and accommodating. Once of the wonderful surprises was the three Golden Retrievers (Maggie, Maverick and Darby). They were so sweet and loving. The hot tub was pure joy. Thank you for such a great weekend and we will definitely be looking to stay here again.

Best weekend ever!
We live in same city, needed a little get away. It was so comfortable peaceful and stress free check-in. Room was stocked with everything you could need and then some. It rained our first night.We did use the hot tub our second night it was awesome. 5 stars from me!

We stayed here for two nights prior to another event in the area just to take in the Lake Norman area. Dawn was great to work with and communicated great recommendations for the area with regards to places to eat. The room was fantastic and the property is beautiful! The hot tub was great with great views of the lake at night with all the Christmas lights around the lake. We would like to return in the summer to utilize the lake a little more in the warmer weather.

Best Location on Lake Norman
This was our second weekend getaway at this location and once again it did not disappoint. The room is perfectly suited for a quick weekend getaway and the views are amazing! There are some great restaurants nearby that we have tried (Epic Chophouse and Flock). We will be planning our next visit soon.

Perfection!!
Steve and Dawn have the perfect accommodations for a weekend getaway! The pictures can’t do the views justice but as soon as you get to the house you will understand. The lake is in full view from inside the room. Easy check in/out. We had the pleasure of meeting Dawn and Steve, and the pups in passing and they were very welcoming. 10/10 recommend and plan on returning.
