Beautiful property
Posted Apr. 23, 2024 on HomeAwayAlthough we didn’t get to enjoy the property very much it was really beautiful. The lake views are gorgeous. The suite is private and just as described. Really comfy bed, nice towels, coffee and coffee supplies. Dawn is really nice and we talked to her a couple times while we were there. We didn’t need anything but if we did she was very accessible and the communication was great. We would definitely stay there again if in the area. When you get there you will be greeted by two or three huge, fluffy, sweet as can be golden retrievers. We brought our dog and Dawn was very accommodating so the dogs had their own private time outside. Dogs or not, you will not be disappointed in your stay here.

Nearby Getaway

In less than 45 minutes from home, we found the guest suite and amenities as perfect as described in the listing. There aren’t words to capture the beauty of the water views and sunsets that we experienced while on the property. Dawn and Steve were quick to respond to any questions or clarifications. We loved seeing part of the lake that we’ve not seen and the peace and tranquility in April were unmatched.

Perfect Getaway Spot
Posted Apr. 19, 2024 on HomeAwayWe live in Charlotte and wanted a close by spot to spend our anniversary and this place did not disappoint. The room was just as pictured, very roomy and very clean. Everything we needed was there. The view of the lake was gorgeous! The owner was very friendly (as well her dogs) but not intrusive at all. Hot tub on the deck was great on a chilly day. I would definitely stay again and recommend to my friends.

Just what two busy professionals needed
Posted Apr. 3, 2024 on HomeAwayWe were hoping that this would be a really relaxing weekend and it did not disappoint. The view from our suite was magnificent. We had a wonderful view of Lake Norman and the space had every amenity you could think of. The hosts were great as well. We talked to Dawn and she was so pleasant and accommodating. Once of the wonderful surprises was the three Golden Retrievers (Maggie, Maverick and Darby). They were so sweet and loving. The hot tub was pure joy. Thank you for such a great weekend and we will definitely be looking to stay here again.

Best weekend ever!
Posted Jan. 14, 2024 on HomeAwayWe live in same city, needed a little get away. It was so comfortable peaceful and stress free check-in. Room was stocked with everything you could need and then some. It rained our first night.We did use the hot tub our second night it was awesome. 5 stars from me!
