Few amenities. Need lightening above bathroom mirror. Not enough seating in bedroom. Breakfast very sparce. Beautiful area and building.
Very clean.

I'm sorry you did not enjoy your stay. We do not advertise amenities or breakfast to keep our rates low. during a very expensive time to visit Vermont. Hopefully, you enjoyed the rest of your vacation.

While the owners seemed very nice some very basic considerations were not taken. I checked in at 10 PM and could not find the property because "the fairy lights" were out! Extremely inconvenient and nerve-wrackingly unsafe for my handicapped mother especially! I had to call the owners to find there actual location in the black of the night!
Other issues included hand towels instaled at over 6 feet high in a handicapped room!!! i also did not like my stay in a bed with yellow wrinkled sheets. I paid less at a Hilton in Boston. I hope you like your stay more than we did.

We are definitely in the country! Quiet, and in our town, we require dark sky compliant. And I’m sorry you must not have seen the towels, washcloth and hand towels that were in the basket. Hopefully what you will remember is us greeting you at your late at night And the kindness we show to all of our visitors.

We understood that there was breakfast, but there was none - only snacks that were available in cannisters. We were promised a room overlooking the lake, but there was none - the inn is far from the lake.
The room was clean and lovely. I can't say anything about the service because there was none - the reception was closed when we arrived, and when we left.
In sum, pretty building, nice furniture, comfy bed, but overpriced.

Hi Joel, I’m sorry you were unhappy with your experience. We do not provide breakfast. I rates are about 30 to 40% lower than the local hotels. Fortunately, as sometimes the third-party companies promise things that are not provided. The wildfires definitely have covered our Lakeview for sure! Hopefully you enjoyed the rest of your visit in Vermont

Stay here if you possibly can! The grounds are so peaceful and beautiful, the food was great, there's a fun bike ride down to the ferry, country walking on trails, pretty farmland, and an astonishing, amazing, truly unbelievable host.
