Newly built addition to our home with private entrance, in a quiet and safe residential area, near UVa. Excellent walking neighborhood. Full kitchen with living area. Great for families- children 7 and older considered. Sleeps up to 4, with one double bed and one queen bed. The bedrooms open up to a balcony that overlooks the backyard.

Convenient, quiet and private apartment, with everything you need! Easy keyless check-in. Blazing wifi, 250 mps, more than ample speed to work from home, have multiple zoom meetings, or stream web content. Smart TV (for your Netflix/Amazon, etc). Note there is local broadcast channels only- NO cable. You can input signal from your laptop to the TV via an HDMI jack also. Bluetooth stereo- play your music from your phone.

Coffee, tea and food in the fridge or cupboards is for you to enjoy. Outdoor balcony outside of bedrooms, looks out into backyard. Plenty of overhead fans inside and out.

Kitchen has a superfast induction stove and compatible cookware. High quality filtered tap water. New appliances.

Great central location, close to most everything in town, including the University, without the noise. Many excellent restaurants nearby. Blocks away from Barracks Road Shopping Center (more restaurants, pharmacy, shopping) and Dairy Market. Easy driving distance to local breweries and wineries.

Garden courtyard- you can have some of our homegrown tomatoes, in season.

If you do have concerns about slipping/falling you may not want to reserve as there are 5 outdoor stairs plus a drive/walkway. ***

Parking in driveway for 1 car; advance notice needed if you need parking for 2 cars in driveway which may not be available. Additional street parking always available. Bedrooms open up onto your own balcony, which is adjacent to our family patio. Please do not use the trampoline.

This is a duplex; we live in the other half. Shared driveway, separate entrances. We are readily available to assist you!

Price includes Charlottesville occupancy tax (8%) plus Virginia sales tax (5.3%).

We are in the process of installing four cameras (video and audio) now in the backyard, aimed at the chicken coop area. (About 8 hens are in a corner of the backyard.) It is conceivable that very loud audio from your back balcony could be picked up by these cameras. Cameras will be on and recording. There are none in the apartment.

Again, please note that the TV has no cable (antenna only) and there is no smoking anywhere on the property. No parties or events, please. Also, wood stove is strictly off-limits to guests.

Perfect location in Charlottesville

The 2 BR 1 BA addition is adjacent to the owners' house but very private, with a separate entrance and guest parking space. It is spotless and well appointed, with lot of extras like coffee service options and thoughtful toiletries in the bathroom. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is updated and quite nice and includes an induction cooktop. The owners are readily available for any questions or concerns. We will definitely stay there again and highly recommend it!

UVA Visit

i needed to travel to UVA for business, wanted a rental walking distance from campus and downtown. This place was perfect, quiet street, close to campus and resturants. Perfect space, centrally located.

We chose this VRBO for the online appeal and location. We were very pleased as this was perfect for our needs. Very well appointed kitchen with all the tools and cookware for making meals and three (!) coffee makers including an espresso machine. Top end appliances and nice bath with plenty of plushy towels. Comfy beds, too. Very happy with this rental.

Just a great place to stay in Charlottesville!

We were more than pleased to stay at this wonderful unit. Super comfortable, great location and wonderful hosts . We haven’t seen any previous VRBO unit as organized and detailed as this one . Great property in ideal location for UVA

This is an ideal property close to UVA with easy parking, all amenities, and a comfortable layout for 2-3 family members. The owner is extremely responsive and is located onsite for any issues (though we had none.) We have stayed here on a few occasions and would not hesitate to recommend/book again.

Quiet and fully equipped apartment near UVA

We enjoyed our stay at the apartment and would definitely return. Both bedrooms are comfortable and very quiet. The apartment is well equipped, including a kitchen with full amenities. The host was very responsive. Located 5 min by car from UVA.
