"Very near to train station (but not loud, train is end of the line so not passing through traffic). Staff were very friendly and spoke English. Easy walk to old town area and great views. Bus to the castles picks up right across the street by the train station. Room was spacious and clean. Room stayed comfortably warm in the winter. "

"This is THE HOTEL to stay at if you want stunning views of Neuschwanstein Castle. The entire town of Hohenschwangau and both castles are easily walkable. All restaurants etc. just a perfect hotel in a perfect location! "

"This was the best part of our stay in Germany! The setting was gorgeous with a fantastic view of both the Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles. It was just what a pictured for a hotel in the Alps. We had a room the would accommodate 4 with a separate sleeping area with 2 double beds. Breakfast and dinner were available and were excellent. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Thankfully everyone spoke English to accommodate us, tourists who do not speak German well."
