Publié le 4 févr. 2024 sur HotelsHorrible...mauvais etat.....refrigerateur qui ronfle...wifi ne marche pas...mais surtout la saleté : le soir, je prends une douche...je marche un peu pieds nus dans la chambre..le lendemain, douche j'avais les pieds très sales....par curiosité j'ai passé une serviette mouillée par terre, en 5 secondes, elle était noire!

There were unidentified bugs in the room but they didn’t bother us.
For $50. It was worth it.

Not really non smoking

I didn’t expect the room to be 5 stars for $50 a night but when I booked a non-smoking room I didn’t expect nor want it to be a converted smoking room you could still smell the stale smoke. I questioned the Front desk and they said they couldn’t smell it and sprayed some Febreze

Nickle and dime you

I was told to change my own bedsheets and put the used ones on the outside of the door the next morning after following their instructions I then was charged $30 because I gave them the top sheet of my bed and so when they check me out it wasn't there

I used to prefer Motel 6 as a brand, but this one put me off. We ended up finding other accomodations. When we arrived, the property did not seem to be very well-maintained, but we were tired and just wanted to put my grandson to bed and get some sleep ourselves. However, when we went to check in, there was a printed (think home computer/laser-jet) flyer on the counter that informed us that using a debit or credit card would cost us an additional $75! But if we wanted to pay cash, it would be the amount that Expedia quoted when I booked the room. The desk clerk told us that for all the motels in the area, this was common practice and that we would receive the deposit back in 7 - 10 business days. Um, no?
When my stepmom managed one, Motel 6 was a reasonable, clean, comfortable, well-kept place to stay. Now, however, the standards appear to have dipped. At least at this property. If you don't mind a shoddy-looking motel, and have the additional $75 to spare, you're good to go at this location. Otherwise, I'd give it a hard pass.
