Avis Near to Puy du Fou 'Hope House' is just fabulous for a multi-generation holiday.

Thank uyou for your comments. This was our first year renting out our lovely house. We have now made available the whole of the garden which is some 3x the size as last year. The pool is as shown on the advert. The bikes were for hire by a local company and were not reserved. We have changed the wording of our add to reflect this. We have parking designated for the property for 2 cars. Les Courdillaureries is a super property and well maintained as are the gardens. Thank you though for your comments and we hope that our changes will enharce the holiday makers experience for 2021!

Les Courillauderies is 400 years old. It is a shame that the nightime temperatures where at -3 degrees with visciously cold daytime temperatures, this is unusual for us here in the Vendee! We are always fair to our guests and endeavour to look after them very well, however I also have to be fair and accurate for the owner. The first two nights where not part of the VRBO booking and we had someone staying in the house for the 5 days previously. We had new radiators installed before your arrival and not after. You also commented to me on day three, (day one of your booking) that the house felt considerably warmer. We also placed a radiator in the salon between the two sofas on the evening of arrival and you said that it had made a great deal of difference. I received a telephone call from you which was very sympathetic, complimentary and gracious the day before I posted my review, so I was a little taken aback with the tone of your comments. I had also agreed a reduction on the rental regarding the first two days. We delivered 9 large nets of wood on top of the wood left for your arrival plus the use of the wood pile in the garden. There are two fires, the grand open fire in the salon and a large log burner in the Oven Room. Thank you for your observations, I will discuss enharcements with the owner so that we can be tip top for next Christmas!
