Cannot recommend a Vacasa rental
Publié le 29 août 2023 sur HomeAwayI have previously stayed in this condo complex, however they were privately owned. This was our first time using Vacasa in this complex and warn others to not rent this unit. You have been warned. Upon arrival we used the toilet in the only bathroom. It continually ran and upon inspection the stopper in the toilet was broken. I called the number for Vacasa and the gal on the line said she would be in contact with maintenance regarding fixing it. We had to remove the lid from the toilet and had to put our hands in the water to manually fix the stopper after each flush. We are a family of 5, you can imagine how fun that was! They did not send someone out that first day and assured it would be fixed the following day. Not true. After multiple messages back and forth the following day, NO ONE came to fix it. On the next morning at around 10:30 someone finally came and didn’t have the proper part to fix it even though we told them the Issue ahead of time. It finally was fixed that afternoon.
The cleanliness of the unit was also not very good there was a granola bar left over and a drink bottle behind the couch, swarming with ants around it!! I will never book through Vacasa again. Book anywhere else but through them. Not worth the hassle if something is wrong with your unit.

Great location, could be cleaner and more secure
Publié le 19 août 2022 sur HomeAwayGreat spot downtown, walking distance to everything. Kids loved the pool. Spacious. No door latch on inside to lock - there is a deadbolt but anyone who knew the code can enter. Had two occasions when someone off the street opened the lanai gates and walked through, one tried to open the units door. Needs a good cleaning. Cobwebs on lamps and dead bugs in canned lights. Found a rotten apple under the couch - we were wondering why there were so many ants. Found hair in the freezer door. The icemaker didn't work so we had to go to Walmart and buy ice cube trays to make our own.

Decent place to stay
Publié le 23 mars 2021 sur HomeAwayThe location of this property was great. It was within walking distance to town and right next to a great pizza joint. The place was clean and worked for our small family of four. The one trouble we had was unlocking the front door, the key fit but we had to jiggle the handle just the right way for it to unlock. Sometimes it took us 10 minutes to get it unlocked.
