You cannot afford to miss the stunning, glowing sunsets from this home!

This beautiful, newly built home is 30 mins up in the hills from downtown Chelan. If you're looking for seclusion, peace & quiet and incredible views, The Ridge House is a perfect fit! Spend several days here away from it all, then plan for a day in town wine tasting, trying out some great restaurants, boating, hiking, etc.

The home is nicely equipped with everything you’ll need for your stay with a large open kitchen, stunning dining table, comfortable beds and views from every room. Even the over-sized shower in the primary bedroom ensuite has incredible views! You'll even be able to watch wildlife while sitting on the large deck looking at the lake and mountain views.

Please take note that this home is overlooking Lake Chelan in an area called Union Valley. There are two ways to drive up into Union Valley, one short and steep, the other longer but smoother. Both roads are dirt roads and the short and steep road is primitive and not well maintained. More detailed instructions will be provided to guests to help best navigate to the home.

CHELAN COUNTY VACATION RENTAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE RIDGE HOUSE:
1. Max Occupancy: 8 guests (all ages)
2. Max number of vehicles: 4 vehicles and one boat/jet ski trailer
3. Quiet Hours: 9pm-8am (Sun-Thu) & 10pm-8am (Fri-Sat)
4. No trash left outside of provided trash receptacles
5. No trespassing into neighbors’ properties
6. Renters will follow all and any county mandated burn bans

VERIFIED VIOLATIONS BY THE CITY OF MANSON OR COUNTY OF CHELAN AND/OR COMPLAINTS MADE BY NEIGHBORS CAN RESULT IN ANY OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING:
1. $250 fine per violation by the county (thousands more for burn ban violations)
2. Forfeit of guests’ damage deposit and/or refundable property fee
3. Immediate eviction
4. Homeowners & hosts may lose their permit to operate

PETS ALLOWED:
We allow a max of 2 dogs only for a $200 pet fee. Please review rental agreement and welcome packet for more details about bringing dogs.


BOATS & TRAILERS:
Bringing a boat or trailer? Please be sure to let your hosts know. Due to the road conditions getting to and from the home, we would like to review and discuss options in order to set expectations. We can provide recommendations if bringing the boat or trailer up to the home won't work out.


CAMERAS & RECORDING DEVICES:
For security purposes, we have three outdoor cameras: one at the front, one looking to the south side and one looking west over the back yard. These cameras monitor weather, package deliveries, security and assisting guests. There are no indoor cameras.


HOT TUB MAINTENANCE:
Hot tub maintenance occurs before guests arrive and on Mondays & Thursdays in the high season. Hot tub maintenance occurs before guests arrive and on Thursdays during the low season.
*If guests refuse or turn service away, this will be an $85 charge to the guest.


VISITING LAKE CHELAN:
Lake Chelan has a lot to offer for every group. When you are not water skiing, boating, swimming at the lake or wine tasting, you can enjoy all that downtown Chelan and Manson have to offer. In the winter time, take in the beautiful snow capped mountains and come enjoy the many events that Manson and Chelan host (Small Town Holidays, Winterfest, Red Wine & Chocolate, winery hosted dinners and so much more!). Most coming to Lake Chelan and renting this home will want to plan out their itinerary for when they are visiting in town and exploring, and when they plan to stay up at the house. This home is ~30 from Chelan's downtown shops, restaurants, tasting rooms and grocery stores.

GUEST / BOOKING REQUIREMENTS:
1. Primary renter must be 25+ years of age and MUST be staying at the property for the complete duration of the booking
2. Rental agreement must be signed after booking is accepted and provide valid ID
3. $500 security hold is required and will be placed 2 days prior to arrival and released 7 days after departure, if no issues are reported.

Secluded retreat
Our small group loved the secluded getaway in this well appointed cabin with some killer views. If you're looking to get away from it all, this is a great option. I wouldn't recommend for someone looking to spend a bunch of time in Chelan, but for our group it was perfect. Check in was a little delayed due to lack of reception but Sean and Carissa were available and responsive when we called for the entry code. The place feels like new and the vista is every bit as impressive as the pics. All around fantastic and quiet getaway from the Hussle and bustle of the city.

We had a great stay with a beautiful view on the hilltop. The owners were very responsive and helpful to various issues we had (internet and timing). If you go during fall or winter you need to have an appropriate vehicle to get up the hill. We enjoyed our stay immensely and again appreciate the responsiveness of the owners during snowy conditions!

Perfect Back-to-School Retreat Location
We were a group of principal friends looking for time to connect and relax before the start of the school year. This was the ideal place. Far enough removed from Chelan that we could really focus on reconnecting and energizing before the start of another busy year without the pull of wanting to head into town to socialize.

Relaxing stay in the mountains
We have rented at the Ridge house several times now. The feeling when you get up the mountain, and see the house and the view is incredible. Everyday stresses melt away and you feel fully on vacation. The last few miles of the drive up to the house on unpaved roads and potentially with snow could be challenging, but very doable in an all wheel drive, and definitely worth it. The house is beautiful with a fully stocked kitchen, kids’ play area, hot tub, and amazing views of the mountains and lake Chelan. We stayed with family (grandparents) and 3 small kids, and had great trips. It’s very quiet and peaceful, while the city is just a 20-25 min drive away. We have loved staying here and will definitely be back.

Wonderful property and space!
My partner, friends, and dog spent a few days here for an early birthday trip. The owners were very quick to respond if I had a question before the trip and even during the trip. Getting to the spot is a trek but worth it with the views and quiet! The house itself was so spacious for our group and we had what we needed. Also everything was super clean and appliances were modern! Beautifully crafted house!

Total seclusion in our favorite lake town
Just a few of us came for a weekend getaway and we got exactly what we were looking for. The hosts provided lots of details leading up to our stay, great recommendations for how to spend our time in Chelan and the home was well cleaned and stocked with everything we needed. We will add that it is out in the hills, and the views are soooo worth it. We left the kids at home for this vacation and truly enjoyed the peace and quiet sitting on the upper deck enjoying the mornings and evenings. Cooler evenings allowed for us to take advantage of the hot tub and the home was well equipped to keep us there for a few days. There are times when we enjoy being in the city/town and there are times when we love being away from it all…. this was the perfect “being away from it all” vacation and we will be back, and highly recommend to others.

This property is stunning and view is beautiful. We had such an amazing stay here with our family! The hot tub was a nice bonus. Very spacious and plenty of room for everyone! We loved the it was out of the main town and we were able to cook and enjoy the view. Can’t recommend this place enough if you want to get away from it all!

Beautiful home, horrible to get there.
The home is stunning, no doubt about that but the location is awful. Just wish we would have had sooner notifications of the dirt/extremely long road as we were towing our boat. Not a good road for that. We were planning to go to dinner when we got settled and dropped the boat but we were so far out there we decided not too. If you could pick the house up and move it closer to town it would be perfect. Otherwise pave the road and put in a pool because once you get there you don’t want to leave.

A real remote getaway
We were guests in the Summer at this wonderful home. The road in is no joke. It’s dusty and a bit rough so be prepared for a dirty vehicle which adds to the charm of the adventure. This home is remote, feels very private, and is spaced out extremely well. It’s clean, quiet, with good wi-fi. The owners are literally exceptional people who truly care about your stay. They know everything about their home and the surrounding area. Wonderful place and space.

We had a great stay and would recommend this home to others. Communication with the property managers was smooth, easy and prompt. They provided us a lot of details about the home and property, especially with the two ways to get there and the most recommended route due to the home being in the hills and only accessible by dirt roads. The home had some great views from the main floor and plenty of space for our group. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening and appreciated the peace and quiet that you get with this property. The home was very clean and stocked with everything needed for a rental.

Wonderful stay with beautiful views
This was a unique house that provided just what we were looking for during our kids' spring break. We really love Chelan and staying this time at a home that was secluded, but still allowed us to enjoy our favorite activities, restaurants and wineries was perfect. The home is about 25 mins up in the hills above downtown Chelan and it was all worth it with the views and incredible sunsets from the deck and balcony. Managers were great to work with, they provided a lot of helpful information about getting to the home and about the home itself, the home was well cleaned, and provided everything we needed for our family of 5. We will certainly come back and stay again.
