Needs to be cleaned and maintained

2)The whole house needs to be dusted
The wine bottles, the animals, all the knock knacks are covered in dust.
3) The bed frame in the main level bedroom is falling apart.
4) Under the sink by the trash can is completely filthy.
5) The string lights on the main deck are just hanging off the house with a pile on the deck.
6) The windows don't open on the upstairs bedroom because the mechanisms are broken and looks like they have been for years.
7) The lightbulbs in the vaulted ceiling need to be replaced.
8) There is a helium baloon stuck in the peak of the ceiling
9) There is no way to turn the light off and have the fan still on in the upper bedroom because the chain is too short to reach.
10) The toilet in the main floor bathroom is loose, it shifts when you sit down.
11) The toilet seat in the upstairs bathroom is loose and moves around.
12) There are no curtains on the bedroom windows downstairs and the curtains in the main level bedroom are not enough to provide any privacy given the sitting area on the front porch looks directly into that bedroom.
13) the sheets on the upstairs bed are worn out and thin.
14). The hot tub water is cloudy and full of particulates. Most of the adults in our party would not use the hot tub because of the condition of the water.
All of these things were shared with owner who only replied..... Thank you for staying with us.

Wow... Where do we even begin? Let's start off by saying that no matter what we could do or say would have been enough for these guests. They were a "rough bunch" to say the least and we felt that she was shaking us down for a free stay, just like complaining at a restaurant for a free dinner-types. She emailed us privately (after check-out of course) threatening to release a bad review if we didn't satisfy her. Never in the nearly 10 years of being Super Hosts on this platform and others, have we had someone walk around our lovely home with "a clipboard" making an inspection list of 14 things that she found wrong with her stay in order to get a freebie. Sad really, but we were professional, respectful and wished her safe future travels. We obviously would not host them again and could not in good conscience recommend them to any future Hosts. We have obtained a 4.8/5 star rating after nearly a decade of hosting literally thousands of guests at this property. We believe that this along with the 5 star reviews just prior to and just after these guests will place their review into context. Thanks for understanding everybody. It's just a part of this business I suppose... -Rick & Tammy

Congratulations, graduate! I’m a nurse!
Publié le 30 août 2023 sur HomeAwayFriends and family came into town for a celebration. There was plenty of room for all. I enjoyed the well stocked kitchen and cooking for my family. The back deck was a great place to chill in the evening and look out at the stars. My favorite part was the quiet on the property. Only sounds of nature. Beautiful place! Thank you!

This was a disappointing reservation for us... They snuck in an additional 4th little dog and let them on the furniture contrary to our published Pet Policy, as well as let them pee right in the front yard, on our fence posts and on our solar lights out front. There were a LOT of spot stains left on our floors, pet urine smell upon check-out that required shampooing and dog hair removal from throughout the house. We could not in good faith recommend them to other Hosts or allow them back, darn it. :o(
*NOTE: Pet Owners-This is EXACTLY what ruins it for others. If you let your dogs run all over your house and "piddle" (accidentaly or not) and cannot follow requested pet rules in someone else's home, find a sitter or LEAVE them home. This stay will make us rethink allowing pets in the future, ruining it for all the responsible pet owners.

Friends getaway
Publié le 10 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe had a group of five families, ten adults and ten kids. We had an amazing trip. We loved the seclusion and the hosts were very responsive, friendly and helpful. Would defiantly recommend.

Perfect vacation
Publié le 28 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayWe visited with relatives in Spokane and had them over for dinner and to visit, was awesome, there is something to do for everyone, we always feel so comfortable and at home there!! Would highly recommend the cabin, it is amazing and so peaceful!

Perfect

With a bed and bath on main floor it covered the mobility of one family member and allowed them to still participate. The 3 beds and batgroom downstairs allowed the teens a spot to play boardgames and the ac downstairs ment it was cool for all the teens. The master bed, bath, and balcony up stairs allowed a bit of excape and the little kids gould still be heard from the kitchen and main floor for supervision. The staircase behind the fireplace was a big hit along with the hidden quarks and adults and kids raved about. The laundry/mud room provided a great staging area for party prep. The hot tub was a hit and the fire pit was great for smores. There was space for all ages and no one was running over the top of each other. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Peaceful Canin
Publié le 18 mai 2023 sur HomeAwayWe stayed with extended family for a funeral. So nice and peaceful, with plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen is fully stocked with every gadget you will ever need. We all enjoyed our stay. Only update we recommend is to add some hooks to upstairs bedroom for guests to hang clothes & towels. Would definitely stay again. Owner is very responsive and helpful.
