Bed was worse it could be. Two sleepless nights due to bed. Breakfast, no bacon though it had been served to others. No place to sit for breakfast. In all, not a good experience. May not use HI express again.

The room looked clean and nice; UNTIL we found bugs in the shower, on the bathroom floor and my daughter had a cockroach land on her thigh while sitting by the bed. When we told the staff they seemed unbothered.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this hotel. It is more expensive than we normally would pay. It really shouldn’t cost as much as it does. Even so, we loved staying here. It was close to historic Sylva.

Everything was great, very clean, very comfortable. It seemed like there was only one person that was taking care of the reception desk and the breakfast counter. She was working hard running around getting everyone everything they needed.

Checking in was easy, the lobby and room was clean. Went to bed with the A/C set low and in the middle of the night, it shut off. The room was crazy hot. For the rest of the night, the A/C would turn off and on. Made the stay horrible.

The only thing that was bad about my stay was the morning of check out when I went to get breakfast there was a bus full of Hispanics eating all the food and drinking all the coffee. I was there at 6a.m. When it opened and breakfast items were scarce.

I tried to reschedule this stay due to the effects of Hurricane Helene. I was told Expedia could not contact the hotel. So I was charged 100 percent of the reservation cost by Expedia, even though we never stayed there. In this area near Sylva all the schools were closing, and they were expecting major flooding. I would not use Expedia. Hilton let me change my reservation when the weather became bad there too, and we were able to drive back to GA. Use Hilton Honors not Expedia.
