Awesome getaway place!

There was snow on the ground from the past week’s snow storm and the family was so glad that we’re able to play with the fur babies on ice! The cabin is so cozy and we had everything we needed in it. The entire home has so much room and we especially enjoyed the amenities, pet-friendliness, and location of the place. We hope to visit again soon!

Beautiful home, but no Air Conditioning :(
Publié le 8 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved the access to the boat dock and the fun activities at the rec center. We even watched the fireworks from the beach! The house was well-stocked and we had 3 generations who enjoyed the stay.
The problem was that while it was 110 in the valley, it was over 100 at Almanor and the house became VERY hot and it was difficult to sleep until the temps dropped in the middle of the night. (There were box fans in each room, but it was still very warm.) We all ended up leaving early :(

The kitchen was well equipped and we had everything we needed to cook our family meals.
Our family had a great week at the Golf Nest and hope to come again.

Family vacation
Publié le 24 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe confirmed the property had wifi before going. The wifi was broken until the last 24 hours of our trip. The host tried to get it working but was at the mercy of the provider. Several of our family members had to leave due to not being able to work from the wifi being down. The fifth bedroom was not advertised as being separate from the main house.

Great property with ample space
Publié le 3 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayStayed in the area for work and it had everything me and my colleagues needed. Ample space for many people. Great rooms, including massive living rooms. Located near the lake and other amenities. Location is quiet and perfect for a winter or summer getaway.

Wonderful Neighborhood!
Publié le 15 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe loved our stay at the Golf Nest! It was perfect for all ages of our children in a safe neighborhood. We could easily walk to the park on the lake and clubhouse for lunch! Our host was great, and the house had more than everything we could need for our stay!
