Hidden gem
Publié le 18 juill. 2022 sur HotelsWe stayed 1 night in this tiny town. MX Motel is accurately described. It was a small room. The bed was comfortable. The A/C unit was fabulous for a hot summer night. The bathroom was clean. The check-in is at the convenience store, which is between the rooms and the highway. It is about 2.5 hours from Glacier National Park. Thank you a comfortable place to stay.

I was very pleased with my stay at the MX Motel in Chester, MT. It exceeded most of my expectations for a small-town motel. The room was compact, but very clean. The a/c and the TV both worked and the bathroom had a newly remodeled shower. The bed was comfy. What else can a person expect?

Not Good If You Get Older Rooms
Publié le 17 mai 2022 sur HotelsThe MX has some new rooms, but we got stuck with two older (and dirtier) rooms. One room had big chunks of dirt in the shower and inconsistent hot water. The other room had a toilet chain that failed as the highly engineered safety pin at the end of the chain broke. The hotels.com confirmation was for the newer rooms, but we got stuck with these two less than desireable rooms.

There was black hair on the shower wall. Seemed clean. Floor was uneven and was lower as you went into bathroom.

I didn’t like having to walk up a flight of outside steps in the rain, dragging our luggage. Staff was helpful. Tiny quarters, but did as a last resort room. Didn’t like it.
