We, received a warm welcome upon arrival from the reception desk and throughout our stay.
The woodland pod dining experience was lovely and made more so by Lucas who was very attentive and provided an excellent service throughout.
The bar staff were lovely especially Lucas (again) but they did run out of stock on a few drinks (only 2 cocktails available, ran out of Pinot Grigio on the 2nd night and gin glasses on the 3rd).
The rooms were clean as was the bathroom (bathroom a little tired).
The only minus really was, the rooms were not very soundproof and we could hear voices and the TV from surrounding rooms at all times of night.
An ask for the future would be that a twin bedded room could be available in the priviledge standard.
All in all a fantastic location to stay for shopping, zoo etc and we would definately recommend it and stay ourselves again in the future.

I stayed for one night with my partner for a nearby wedding. Although staff were brilliant and friendly we encountered a couple of issues.
Their was no toilet roll in the bathroom and only one towel for two people. Additionally, the shower was little more than a leak and was not sufficient to wash in.
Although the staff were great allowing us to leave our bags in reception as we arrived before check in at 3pm and they were really friendly and helpful.
However the hotel is quite tired and could do with a make over to bring the place back to life.
Overall, staff great but facilities lacking

Excellent facilities and hotel. The staff were amazing and were swift in action on any queries. Amazing food in the restaurant. Will definately stay in the future.

Friendly staff throughout. Average room size, clean and with all the amenities needed. Didn't have chance to use the pool/gym. Nice 30 min walk down canal into centre. Only negative is that it's looking a bit tired in places

We had a lovely welcome from all member of staff, including Reception, cleaners and breakfast staff. The room was very warm and we struggled to cool it down. All in all a pleasant stay, with the Park and Ride and transport links being very convenient.
