Didn’t live up to expectations
Publié le 6 août 2024 sur HotelsWe have stayed at the main hotel a couple of times in the past and as our regular hotel was booked we thought we would try the apartments at Oddfellows and unfortunately they were a bit of a let down. There signs of poor maintenance such as the blinds being broken and unable to open or shut. The slats were broken allowing light in the morning. The toilet seat in the bathroom is cracked/broken. Smoke alarm on top of the fridge that looks like it should have been in the hall/entrance as one was missing from there. Extractor fan in the shower room didnt work. The cleanliness of the apartment also wasnt amazing. The tv remotes were all really dirty. The mirrors were dirty and the bedding had marks on them. There was dirt under the sofa in the living room. We havent stayed at oddfellows for quite a few years and were impressed with the main hotel, so its a shame the appartments didnt live up to our expectations.

Great hotel, bar and restaurant
Only negative was that we were in an accessible room that had a bath in the room which wasn’t practical at all, and the shower seat needs replacing - mouldy.
