Absolutely amazing as always..3rd stay and we will definitely be back again next year... amazing location on the river Dee and walking distance to town centre.
Host very welcoming and always at hand if needed. This is a must stay any time of year

Excellent accommodation

The accommodation was also very well equipped, which made cooking a family meal much easier.

Publié le 11 mai 2023 sur HotelsWe stayed over for a special birthday treat and...WOW.. what an amazing place. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable, everything you could possibly need for a break/holiday.
Rondeva is very central - a few minutes walk to a lovely pub and restaurant, max 10 min walk into Chester centre. Convenience shop a few minutes away.
There is a beautiful park right on your doorstep which is lovely to walk around, and if you have kids it has a great playground/park, and even a miniature railway!
The view from the property is second to none. There is lovely comfortable seating outside overlooking the river Dee. Sitting out in the sunshine watching the boats go by with a glass of wine - heaven!
Lastly the communication with Chris was first class. If I had any questions before or during our stay, he was very quick to respond and extremely helpful.
It was a family member's 70th birthday, and he even helped by putting balloons and banners up for me. He really does go above and beyond.
My family said it is the BEST place they have ever stayed in this country, and we've stayed in lots of holiday homes over the years.
We'll definitely be back - book it, you won't be disappointed.

Lovely place to stay

The outdoor space is brilliant, we all loved watching the boats and ducks going past the front of the house. Very comfortable home away from home. Chris is lovely and only a text away if you need anything. We will definitely be back again. Thank you

Fantastic stay
Publié le 23 déc. 2021 sur HotelsFantastic location. Fantastic house. Very clean and very close to town center. Can't fault the place at all to be honest and as this was my 2nd visit we shall be returning again soon hopefully. Rated as 3 star but I would say it's a 5 start .

Rondeva is the perfect house for our family. It is beautifully decorated, warm, clean and quiet. The house is a short walk to the park, shops, Roman baths, walls and amphitheatre. There are many local cafes and restaurants and Waitrose is a 10 minute walk if you want to cater for yourself. Communication was excellent. We frequently visit Chester and this will always be my first port of call for accommodation.

Unique location, perfect for any type of visit.

There really isn't anywhere like it - situated right on the river, but also only minutes walk to the centre of Chester, PLUS parking space. Over the road is Grosvenor Park, with a great play area for the kids and a miniature railway. All the obvious visitor attractions of Chester with the bonus of most being within walking distance (apart from the zoo, which is a short drive or a bus journey away). Chris is an excellent host, who checks up on you and is easy to contact if you need help with anything. Highly recommend. We will be returning here again :-)
