Good location for our visit

Evening was very noisy as a function was on. Unable to use bar because of this. Unable to use Balcony as overlooked by guests and voices carry so unable to open windows as needed fresh air as room got quite stuffy in warm weather.

Great on previous visit, inflexible and dismissive

My wife broke her wrist so we could not attend. The hotel made it clear they wouldnt change the date or be of any help in anyway.

The pool in the spa was freezing cold. It says a lot when there's more people out of the pool than in the pool. The staff on reception where extremely rude. She asked me to pay even though I had already paid, she booked 1 person in for breakfast when they where two of us staying in a doubke room. Not very approachable or friendly seen as though she is front of house. I waited 10 minutes at the bar to get a drink as there was no one serving so I had to go and find someone. Not very good if you ask me.

Warm welcome from the reception team, great first impression. Bedroom was a bit tired, curtains hanging off the rails and some damp stain and wallpaper coming away in the corners, a bulb out on arrival in the room. Obviously housekeeping manager not checking rooms after they have been serviced. Great bar, restaurant and spa staff. coming down for breakfast at the later time of 9.30am, appeared to be a lack of replenishment of the breakfast area, no pastries, chopped fruit bowl empty, orange juice ran out.

Great customer service delivery from reception and bar staff. Room was to a high standard. Disappointed with the food from the bar. I ordered a burger which on the menu included a tomato salad. When it came out no salad but shavings of cucumber, so asked for another one. But made to feel I was in the wrong for pointing this out, when really it was the chefs issue poor checks and balances before food left the kitchen.

Spa was not cleaned from one day to the next. Changing rooms and showers were dirty. Refills of shampoo and shower gel just left on floor and empty bottles were left on wall. Breakfast was good. Hotel was tired but clean.
