Stayed here in November 2023 and the only issue then was the plug release in the bath was broken. We stayed again in the same room September 2024 and they have still not fixed the plug release I had to get a teaspoon and pry it open!! Apart from that the food is fantastic and service brilliant. Sad to see the Candal factory has gone under after 50 years. We will be back might try a different room next time.

Pub tradizionale molto bello con belle stanze, ampie e comode. Uno degli hotel più dog friendly mai visitati, e per noi è importante! Ottima cena e colazione!

We stayed for 1 night as we were attending a wedding. Felt like we did not make full use of the hotel however the parts we did experience were perfect and we would definitely stay there again.

Great hotel and restaurant

It would have been nice to have had the heating on when we arrived but appreciate that we’d recently had a change in weather. Bar has wide selection of drinks and food is excellent. Views are fantastic on a clear day and outdoor seating is available. Would (and have) happily recommend to friends and family

Lovely setting and all the staff were very helpful. The rooms are fantastic and the quality of the furnishings is high. Had breakfast which was served quickly and of very f=good quality. Will defiantly be back again for a weekend stay not work as this was. Fully recommend booking this place.
