Comfortable room, good food, helpful and friendly staff. Popular with locals which is always a good sign. Not far from Angel of the North too.

Used the Bowes Incline on a business trip to the area.
Nice quite place out of the way
Rooms very nice and new
Very comfortable
Evening meal there was a good selection and very nice food, likewise breakfast

Publié le 22 juin 2024 sur HotelsWhat a great place to stay , you have to go down some small lane to get to it ,but with the main road (A1) running just over 50m away it was very peaceful no road noice .
Check in was easy , room very clean , only problem was they are updating the room next door so heating was off but heater was in the room , also workmen didn`t start work until after 9-30 so no problems with noise .
Great breakfast with loads to choice and plenty to be had , the pub food was some of the best i`ve had ( beef & ale pie ) grat price too .
GREAT STAFF everyone of the team was great 11 out of 10 nothing was to much trouble for them .
