Accueil sympa mais carte bancaire française refusée. Petit déjeuner vraiment simple et n’as de gamme

Nice pool, but the walls were peeling. Fairly good breakfast, but no decaf coffee was available.

Staff was extremely pleasant and it was clean.
But this property seriously needs updated. The door to our room didn't always close or latch. Wallpaper was falling off in the bathroom and the internet was really slow. .

The things we liked about this hotel are the location and the breakfast was very good. Otherwise it wasn't horrible by any means but we would not return. The hotel is very outdated which would be ok and quaint - except there is carpet in the rooms and hallways and for whatever reason there were air fresheners so strong in the rooms and hallways that it nearly was not tolerable. I'm not sure why or if there is another problem they are covering up.... But that was really a deal breaker for us. We went ahead and stayed the 2 nights but we were glad to leave to be honest. The lobby area and breakfast areas are very nice and if they could just copy that format for the rooms it would be a really nice place - but the air fresheners were just so strong it kind of ruined it for us.

The hotel was old and dated and in generally poor condition. My back door going to the outside would NOT CLOSE. we slept with a chair propped under the door because we didn’t discover it until we were ready for bed. When we reported it upon checkout, we found out they KNEW the door was damaged but put us in there anyway!! The breakfast was very sad. We feel very misled by descriptions and reviews.

This was a cozy, comfy retreat! I especially enjoyed the wooded setting, the fire pit and swings... Very friendly, helpful staff. I'll be back, and will stay longer next time.
