Wouldn't even let me in

Contre : Someone should be at the front desk.
I was working in Chetwynd and when I got to the hotel to check in late that night I called the number posted on the door and the woman on the phone told me the hotel was closed so I had to find another motel at midnight. I was only told that I had to check in after four. I can't really comment on the cleanliness of the room but this is a terrible hotel, don't even bother booking it!

Was not what i expected room/lobby had a distinct odour and i had to cross the street to another hotel to check in.

Brookside Inn Review

When I arrived, there was a sign on the door saying that I should check in next door. I walked to the neighbouring hotel and the friendly clerk there helped me to my room. The room was small and ugly. But, the bed was comfy, the wifi was reasonable, and it had a fridge and microwave. When checking out, I couldn't find any staff at the hotel, or the place next door. I waited around for about 20 minutes, then just left my key in a mailbox. If you don't care about luxury or appearances, or if you just want to save every dollar you can, this place is fine. It gets the job done. Just don't vacation here.
