The hotel staff are courtesy and always demonstrate willingness to help. The only comment is about the hotel room lighting. Stronger lighting is required when i tried to read the air conditioning control knob. In addition, USB charging port should be available for all latest electrical and electronic devices. Anyway, I'll stay in the same hotel if I visit Chiayi again.

We book a suite for one-night stay in Chiayi; the room is clean which is what we care the most when staying in a hotel. There's a 7-11 in 500m away which is pretty convenient if you need to buy snacks or bottle water.

Nice town location but still quiet
A really nicely located hotel with very friendly staff. Not speaking a word of Taiwanese myself they helped me all the way through check in and whenever I asked for guidance. A short walk from the night market and shops makes it a good stop to explore from

4 stars hotel a budget hotel?
I understand about being environmentally friendly. With effect from 1 June, the hotel has started charging for toothbrush set. On 3 May, I was sent an email stating that I could request for toothbrush set at no charge. However I was told to pay until I showed the email.

Disappointed that no effort made to offer an upgrade to room despite being a VIP and Rewards hotel. Both myself and my partner are Gold Members and the hotel usually tries to provide an upgrade (subject to availability of course).
