Points forts : Propreté, commodités et état et installations de l’hébergement.
The hotel is perfectly located in the Loop district. The rooms are spacious and clean, but nothing more. The bathroom is very good, with a large shower. We had a problem with a clogged sink, and someone intervened very quickly to solve the problem. The air conditioning works well. There's a coffee machine and a microwave which is very handy. Lots of cupboards too. The view from the room was perfect, we had taken the "king size bed with landmark view" option and it's a real plus. We had a view over the gardens of the Willis Tower. So why 3 stars and not 5? First of all, the staff at reception: you have to beg for a smile or a hello. It's not a very warm welcome. You always feel like you're intruding. Secondly, the sheets are not suitable. The mattress is so thick that the fitted sheet doesn't fit. As a result, in 5 minutes, the bed is completely unmade and you have to sleep on the mattress protector (not sure this one is changed after each customer). We did ask for a flat sheet, but our request went unanswered. It's a real shame for a Hilton hotel.
