This hotel was perfect for a quick vacation trip to Chicago. The staff was friendly and approachable, and they were happy to check us in early since we arrived hours before the scheduled time. I especially appreciated this because it was a cold 28°F (-2°C) kinda windy day! The room was clean and comfortable, with a microwave, small fridge, Keurig coffee maker, and TV. The Wi-Fi was great, and the toiletries were good quality and smelled nice. The hotel was also able to keep our luggages after check-out, while we went out to go to a few more places before our scheduled evening departure time.
The location was excellent. It was directly in front of many restaurants (Morton’s, Perilla Steakhouse), and there were coffee shops and food places just a few blocks away. There was also a clean 7-Eleven across the street, which I felt safe to go to for basic supplies like water (We went around 8 AM and 8 PM).
We were able to walk to many of the attractions in the area, including the Art Institute of Chicago, Millennium Park, and other museums, within about 10ish minutes. We also walked to Union Station, which we got to in about 20-25 minutes at a comfortable pace.
Overall, we had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient.
