Checked in on my birthday as I prepared to visit Wrigley Field for the first time. As a lifelong baseball fanatic since the early 70s this trip has always been a bucket list item. Thomas at the front desk made sure to offer early check in and even had champagne sent to the room. From start to finish the staff were helpful, considerate and accommodating.

I am overly picky about cleanliness and odors. This hotel was perfect- not a trace of past people and decorated beautifully. Comfortable bed, nespresso machine in the room- delicious- extremely friendly and accommodating personnel. Kind of ruined every other hotel for me. Why can’t they all be Hotel Zachary?

I’ve stayed here before but this time they weren’t as accommodating. I also do not understand why they close the bar deck outside at 10:00 when we only have so many beautiful evenings to enjoy the outside. We came back to the hotel to enjoy a cocktail and the weather and they wouldn’t let us sit outside. That deck was the main reason we chose to stay there.

Providing the highest level of service and hospitality is our top priority and I regret that we fell below your expectations this time. I appreciate your insights regarding our outdoor limitations in the bar and restaurant Alma. We have a duty to abide by the city of Chicago's noise ordinance that begins at 11pm nightly. While this may provide helpful context for the reasoning behind our hours, I completely understand your disappointment and apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused during your stay.
