I purchased two different rooms one studio and one bedroom and when I got to check in they checked me in to the wrong room which was the studio after I told the front desk that I will like to be in the one bedroom instead of the studio..both rooms were already paid for so I immediately came down to the front desk to tell them about the mistake they suggested that I pay another $200 for another room after they charged me $200 for the deposit for the wrong room, I told them I wasn’t able to make that purchase because they already took the money.. I’ve sat there for 2 hours asking can I get accommodated I’ve got disrespected by one of the employees he was really rude I asked for the manager he told me it’s no need to talk to the manager because she will tell me the same thing which is to put another deposit down after I did it already. After a while he stopped responding to me after I was asking him questions blantly ignoring me .. If they had told me what kind of room it was before I put down the deposit it would be no issue but to assume that they will give me the 1 bedroom because that’s what I asked for they just gave me a key and a room number.. I will not be coming back here and I still have not talked to the manager no one reached out to me they just took my money

As explained by the staff, when attempting to cancel your Hotel Collect booking, we processed a refund for the deposited amount and collected our nightly incidental hold of 200 as a standard. Your preference to utilize the other reservation was honored, while also adjusting the incidental hold to 1 for the separate reservation, to avoid holding any additional funds while the refund for your first reservation was processed. Our team recognized your display of frustration, even once the reservations were sorted.While there seems to have been miscommunication regarding which room type and reservation you initially preferred, we by no means tolerate mistreatment of our guests, regardless of circumstances.For this, we truly apologize and ensure that this is not indicative of the service we strive to offer.We assure you that the 200 incidental hold was released upon your departure. Additionally, the one-night deposit was previously refunded on the Hotel Collect reservation.We have sent copies of your final receipt to the email provided at arrival. Should you have any additional questions or concerns, please contact the hotel directly.

We stayed in a jr. Suit 2 bedroom. The amenities were awesome. Love the sauna and steam room. My only complaint is the service from staff themselves.
We first get to our room and found the following.
- The door to the patio did not open.
- TV would not work.
- Bathroom fan didn't work.
We called the front desk and they said they would send someone up to take care of the door and tv. After waiting an hr, noone came so we went on our way to explore Chicago.
When we returned, we asked if the issues can be taken care of but the lady said, ohhh the tv is probably a cable loose or something.
We went back to our room called down for help with the patio door and from trial and error on the phone this was fixed. We then fixed the TV ourselves ( it was a faulty cable)
Seems they knew exactly the issues of the room from previous guests. It would've been nice to get assistance with these problems.
All in all though, the hotel, amenities, and its location were great and we had a great trip!

You are correct, that our team is trained in typical remedies for such work orders (such as knowing that often times it might be a simple cable loose on a television or knowing that the balconies typically just require a good push to open - part of their fire-proof seal to maintain code). By no means is this meant to feel dismissive to our guests, but instead meant to allow the team to quickly assist the guest in cases where it might be quickest to advise the guest on the potential fix themselves. That said, it sounds like there was certainly a missed opportunity if the team did confirm Maintenance would be coming to the room. Again, for that we do apologize. Apart from these hiccups, we do hope that you enjoyed your stay with us. We hope to welcome you back, again, soon!Best,

Didn't feel much like a hotel....kind of like staying at a friends condo in the city.

Great stay and location!!
Publié le 13 août 2024 sur HotelsThis was a great place to stay with a group. We got a two bedroom two bath unit for 2 adults and three kids. The full kitchen was amazing. We loved the pool and other amenities offered. Will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful and quiet building. Staff is friendly, but hard to get any extra blankets, towels, etc…
