Publié le 23 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe apartment was exactly what we needed. All spaces were very clean and stocked with basic items. The beds and bedding were very comfy. The location is on a quiet street, but still close to what Logan Square has to offer. The owner, Cait, was available for questions and very welcoming! Highly recommend.

It was so clean with charming decor. Caitlin was incredibly accessible, helpful and quick to reply with any questions. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location and cute VRBO, short ceilings
Publié le 13 août 2024 sur HomeAwayIt was a great location. Neighborhood felt safe and easy to get into. It was easy access to great restaurants and farmers market and public transportation. The only down side is my significant other is 6'3" and had to duck in certain areas to enter rooms etc. Otherwise it was great!

Great Location / Just What You Need

The accommodations were perfect for what we were looking for, which is a place to sleep and recuperate between excursions around the city. The place was very clean, beds were comfortable, and there were basics such as coffee, shampoo/conditioner, etc available if you didn’t bring your own.
Our favorite part was the location. You are in walking distance of dozens and dozens of different restaurants and shops. Every place we ate at was fantastic, and we walked to all of them. The neighborhood felt safe and active; lots of people out and about at all times, even nighttime.
If you’re looking for constructive comments I’d say that it isn't set up for cooking as there is limited silver ware, utensils, and counter space for that matter. You can do it, just not set up well for it. For us this wasn’t a problem as eating all the Chicago food staples was part of our plan. Also, bring your own wine glasses if you want to drink wine out of actual wine glasses (I didn’t care but I know some do).
Overall, we had a great experience in Chicago and our VRBO was part of that. Would for sure stay here again if we’re coming back to Chicago.

We sincerely appreciate the feedback. We try to provide ample supplies and small appliances for the kitchen to cover the cooking and baking basics, but I’ll connect with you directly to discuss your recommendations.
The space currently has the Spanish-style bodega glasses, but I can definitely add a traditional stemless option for our guests! :)

Beautiful home, perfect location!
Publié le 7 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe came to town for a long weekend to celebrate a family wedding and see some sights. Cait was VERY accommodating with our early arrival which was greatly appreciated.
The space is the basement to the house pictured. It was bright and clean. Beds were comfortable and the common area was spacious. The 'Welcome' book made it easy to quickly get acquainted with the surrounding area and restaurants.
I would give caution if you have tall people in your party. There are areas where the ceilings are low (for air vents). My husband (6'5") and son (6'5.5") literally had to duck in some areas. Also, the shower is tight (think RV or houseboat sized). Someone large would struggle.
When you stay here, be sure to wave to the neighbor next door who watches the world go by from his front stoop :-)

The basement apartment was welcoming and fully equipped with all our needs. The host answered questions promptly and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our time in the city.
