La gentillesse et l efficacité du personnel. Les chambres pourraient être rafraîchies mais la literie est impeccable. Salle de bains bien équipée mais bémol sur la plomberie !!! Prendre un bais peut être une opération compliquée. Super restaurant the Farmer and butcher. Très bon petit déjeuner au bar and grill. Nuance pour le déjeuner et le dîner. Ce n est pas très propre ni bon… très beaux jardins

Fantastic facilities with great pool area and lovely breakfast and dining. Only let down by insane bar prices at £15 for a Gin and Tonic.

We would have liked to have given more stars, but on this weekend it seemed the hotel was under staffed. Rooms are apparently cleaned up until 4.00pm. We got back at 2.30 on the first day, our room hadn’t been cleaned and so it wasn’t that day. Also the bath wash was empty and the shower screen wasn’t well fitted, so there was a pool of water on the floor after each shower. On the second day we got back at 3.50pm to find the cleaner still in our room, which isn’t ideal. Why couldn’t rooms be cleaned earlier? It’s a 4 star hotel. On the second morning the staff apologised at breakfast as they had many more people than expected. They’d run out of menus, tables hadn’t been cleaned, food was not being replenished on the buffet and only one of two coffee machines was working, but that kept malfunctioning. We hadn’t been told that there was filter coffee as well?! The staff were helpful and charming, but we felt were really up against it. Disappointing.

Lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings. Clean comfortable rooms. A mini fridge in the rooms would be nice. Staff very attentive, friendly and efficient. Food in restaurant good. Breakfast was excellent.

Reception staff were helpful and kind I was a lone traveller so needed to feel comfortable There didn’t seem anywhere to work and get a drink but I managed suitably Dinner was gorgeous
