Absurd, they charge extra for toilet paper

I have never in all my life been charged for toilet paper by a hotel. Ive stayed here over a dozen times all for business purposes. On this trip they tried to charge me for a roll of toilet paper, check your bills on the way out. Absurd.

Estimado caballero pasamos a darle respuesta: Sus comentario es completamente inexacto y mal intencionado. Segun normas del Hostal a cada habitacion le coresponde un rollo de papel por dia de alojamiento como se le asigno. En muchas ocasiones Ud. solicito papel adicional mientras estaba alojado y se le facilito. En esta ocasion Ud. solicito un Rollo de papel adicional una hora antes de retirarse, es por este motivo por el cual se le cobro el costo (S/. 1.00) que finalmente ante su reclamo se le devolvio. On many occasions you request additional paper while it was hosted and it was facilitated. Noisy, inconsistent service. Foreigner price scam.

Pour : At first, the cost and location. Neither the aggravation about the price or the proximity to work is worth it, though.
Contre : TyrMatch between rates booked and rates actually charged. Train staff to be quiet. Blackout curtains for the rooms, and area rugs to dampen the noise.
First, they always demand a tax foreigers should be exempt from, and if you book through Expedia they add it to the cost of the room. I've seen them increase the rate from a confirmed internet price before allowing folks to check in. My first stay here was great, so I gave them a commensurate review. Since then I've had problems getting a hot shower EVERY stay since (at least 3 other times). They have to "switch tanks" sometimes, but the staff who knows how to do this isn't always readily available. Even when there is hot water, you have to let the tap run for at least 5 minutes before it actually gets hot, wasting water. Their cafe on the 4th floor is open to the central stairwell, so every sound echoes throughout the hotel from about 5am, as does the sound of every guest checking in, open and closing doors, and the business on the first floor. Finally, only in my first room was I able to diminish the light flooding into the room to sleep. Every other time, I could literally read by the light flooding into the room all night because there are no curtains.

Great value for the price...nice street with trees

Pour : Price, location
Contre : Noise level between midnight and 7am
Emplacement : Lots of restaurants, ATMs, and laundry nearby. I travel. For work so this was what I focused on.
Staff knowledgable, friendly, and immediately available. Can't beat the prime location--in the middle of it all but on a street happily more quiet than I would've expected. Decent breakfast, quickly prepared, though I would've preferred a local bakery's pan frances over the mass-produced ones they serve. All in all a good experience. I'll be back.

Nice place, decent price

The place is nice, the price is adequate. They also allow you to enter room at an early hour which is nice if your arriving from long travels.

Experiencia muy buena

Recomiendo esta Hostal pues el trato es muy amable, limpian cada día, el desayuno es agradable y suficiente para empezar el día, es céntrico, pude utilizar la pc. Algo muy importante es la privacidad que hay. No alquilan por horas y ello evita situaciones incómodas. Gaseosas, galletas, lapitas y útiles de higiene personal son vendidos en recepción.
