Publié le 27 août 2024 sur HomeAwayIt's a great location and a beautifully decorated home with ample towels and kitchen supplies. We appreciated the notes about letting in the midges and mosquitoes so we never opened the windows. Nevertheless, there seemed to be an infestation of mosquitoes in one of the bedrooms. Over two dozen were found nights in the room my son and his wife had to sleep in. Unfortunately, she's very susceptible to mosquitoes. We were not allowed to change the temperature in the house without raising the cost of our stay Therefore, it was very cold when we watched TV or played games. And this was in August. We did use a space heater for those times, but it was still uncomfortable. In the master bedroom, there was a consistent hum from the water heater and sprinkler system which sometimes ran all night. The worst problem was the unexpected pee that came up through the first bed my son and his wife slept in. He was covered with some kind of liquid on his back and we discovered it was coming from inside the mattress. Not a healthy thing to happen. We met the owner who was very nice and as horrified as we were about the bed problem. She came to inspect the situation and said she would be refunding some of our money, but that hasn't happened yet.

Bill There is no infestation of mesquites. It’s home in the country. And there is no reason you could have not turned heat up. There are heaters in every room. I am refunding money to you. I thought coming out to you was a very nice meeting. And very much a clear understanding

It’s a beautiful area close to Crater Lake and many boating activities. The listing mentions a hot tub, but there is not. Even though it’s very close there is no view of Klamath Lake from the property. There is a big building next door with a very loud compressor running all day and night. The house was a bit dusty and no AC. The house checkout requirements asked us to strip beds take out garbage and wash dishes which we did. I still received a message that requirements were not fully met. It worked out fine for my trip. But I would not choose it again.

Lovely home, roomy, but no A/C and not enough fans
Publié le 25 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house itself was roomy and comfortable for 3 friends in the area to explore Crater Lake. Kitchen was well appointed but some dishes had been put away not cleaned or n some cases clean but not dried. The biggest issue it was very hot, no A/C in the house which would have been less of an issue if there had been enough fans -- at least one for each bedroom. Lynda (host) was very responsive on questions and wish all hosts were that thorough in instructions and quick to respond. With more fans and a bit better cleaning, I would have rated as a 5 star.

Great Views and Peaceful
Publié le 16 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwaySpent the weekend with my kids to experience the annular solar eclipse and explore Crater Lake. Absolute loved the property, home, and location out in the quiet country. I will be saving this property to my favorites list for future trips to the Klamath area.

Worked for what we needed

The property was very clean, spacious and a good location for a trip to Crater Lake. The washer and dryer were appreciated as we had been traveling.
