We chose this place based purely on its location and hoped for the best. It didn’t wow us, but it didn’t disappoint. My biggest issue is that there was no one in the office for check in, our key was in an envelope with our names on it taped to the office door with a page of instructions, and we had to call the number on the instruction sheet to find out about things like the wifi only to be told that it was in “the notebook”. The notebook they referred to was buried in a basket that I had to dig around and find. The notebook had interesting information in it, like a page instructing us not to turn the a/c below 70° or it would freeze and we’d have no a/c. The dishes in the cabinet and drawer were not clean, guests are to wash, dry, and put dishes away and someone didn’t seem to understand what that means,

Great little place. Just a bit dated.
Publié le 8 sept. 2024 sur HotelsThis place was great. Parking was tight, but enough spaces available. Rooms were a bit dated and could use some general maintenance. Never met the front office staff, but check in and out was easy. The view made up for any problem we may have had!!

Our stay was amazing. You are transported back in time to this quaint, little, cabin like room and property. It is quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. Property is right on the river. We sat by the river on the swing in the mornings. I sat on a rock reading a book for hours while listening to the sounds of the river. At night, we were able to make a fire and hang out with other guest at the fire pit.
